Online ADR booking process question

I was playing with the online booking system this morning and have a question. I chose a time and date for a specific meal, then added it to my cart. Then it asks if I want to checkout or continue searching. So, if I continue searching, will it save my ADR until I check out? Or could I lose it while I am searching for the others?? I am asking for a CRT that I am hoping to get, should I just go ahead and check out to make sure I get it??? :confused3

I believe it says that items are held in your cart for 2 hours, I know I spent 30+ minutes looking at different adr's and everything remained in my cart for atleast that long.

From the disney website:

The offers in your cart remain available for up to 2 hours as long as you're actively using this site; offers expire after 20 minutes of inactivity.

What time can you actually start making ADR's online? I know when you call obviously you have to wait until the phone lines open. Can you start making online ADRs at midnight at the 180 mark?

Yes it does save it if u choose to continue searching.

I believe i was able to have 5 adrs in my cart before checking out.

If u feel more comfortable about making sure u have crt, go ahead and completely check out...

You honestly wont have to though!

I was up this morning at 12 pt bc some ppl have successfully made adrs at that time. Unfortunately ilthe calendar did not roll over for me so i had to make them at the official online time which is 6am et.

You might want to try and do the 3am et online. It does work for some people i hear!

Many posters (including myself) have had success booking online ADRs at 3 AM Eastern Time, even thought the "official" online ADR window is supposed to be at 6 AM. But I did my ADRs in mid-September. There have been some reports in the last few days that the online ADR system hasn't been rolling over until 6 AM. Not sure if this is just the system being glitchy for some, or if this an official change. Reports are mixed, and there's been no official information forthcoming. If you have the wherewithal to try at 3 AM, it couldn't hurt. Even at 6 AM, you're getting an hour headstart over those who have to wait til 7 AM to call.

Thanks everyone! I also have read that lots of people have had it roll over at 3am EST, and have also read many reports of people trying a few hours before the 7am official time and having luck! Don't know what I am going to do yet! I would hate to have to get up and try and not have it work, but I probably won't be able to sleep that night anyway!! :surfweb:

That was me on my 90 day. I stayed up til 2:30a. Opened all of tabs for the restaurants I wanted. Refreshed each tab @ 2:59a and BOOM all of my +10's opened. I booked everything I wanted with in about 30 mins of my wants. I then stayed up til 6:00a Central for the phone lines to open so I could book my CP Dinner Pkg. I started dialing at 5:59 and 30 seconds and got a CM within 20 secs. I was way too hyped to sleep until I was finished with everything. Finally went to sleep about 7:00am. Luckily I was off from work on that day! :cool1:

I did my ADRs on Monday. I am in Eastern time and I was not able to book until 6am.
Also, I found it hard to find the cart again if you are in the middle of searching. I added another booking just to get to my cart and then deleted it.

Effective the 27th the booking window increases to 180 days out. So, do I have to book EACH day of my vacation on the 180th day out? For example my first vacation day is May 6th - so 180 days out would be Nov 7th - does that mean each day after that I can book the next vacation's days meals (Nov 8th for May 7th, etc.)?

I think I will prefer booking online - when I did my ADRs this year it took FORever with a CM and I always seemed to get conflicting answers.

Can you also book special dinners like Spirit of Aloha show online?
