Porsche of Orlando just received their first Carrera GT - the $450,000 supercar. They verified that this one belongs to Jonathon Gooding, owner of Gooding's Supermarkets in central Florida. Charging a lot for groceries (compared to Publix, WD & WM) does pay well it seems.

Selling the actual stores might have helped pay for that, too. A few years ago they sold all but the "Disney area" stores. Of course, the groceries will help pay for the gas.

Guess I don't need to feel sorry for the Gooding family being put out of business by the increased chain competition. Sounds like they have a few dollars left. LOL!

Another reason they are so expensive is because they have to pay for the wall to wall carpeting in the store.
