Hello... majority of us Disers have been back to the World one to many times... do you try to do something new everytime (may it be offiste or onsite)... or there's one thing that you have to do every trip to complete the whole trip...

I myself have found myself seeing the Wishes Fireworks on the very 1st day I get there... it was not planned but for some reason I find myself standing by infront of the Castle the same day my feet touch WDW soil. And at the same token I try to do something new even if it is just eating something that I never had before or just sitting in a corner where I had never sat before.

Last May'10 travelling with Mom it was a lot of 1st which made it so memorable.

- great friends finally met my mom and vice versa and they seemed to hit it off which was wonderful!

- a great 1st where me and Ash(BFF's Son) hangout to ride Space Mountain and monkey around to pose and have picture taken by the Castle..

- have been to TL many times but a 1st with a bunch of Disfriends, even my mom cant stop talking about it!

this Trip in October I am looking at 3 new activities... will post about it when I get back... for now its your turn to share your 1st and if you have pics accompanying it so much the better!!!

:wizard::wizard::wizard:

Due to tradition with son the first thing we do when we arrive is go to HS and ride ToT, so that is always a first. For me it is not Disney til I go to MK and see Cinderellas Castle so while our first stop is ToT by noon we normally hit MK and then I feel at home. We always have to do Wishes the last night of our stay and then the last thing we do before we leave to come back to reality is go ride ToT one last time!

I always tend to go during F&W Fest, so there's usually something new and interesting to see with the demonstrations and events ... unfortunately, next trip probably isn't until Oct '11.

Each trip I try a new tour I've never done. Last year it was the Steam Train tour. I also try to fit in a new restaurant or one I haven't visited in years.

I think I started a new tradition last year with La Cava del Tequila. Going forward, I don't think the trip will be complete without stopping in for a few margaritas. That and hitting the Sea-Raycers for an hour on Bay Lake.

me too ! but not necessarily Wishes... the last park I walk out is always MK again not planned but it just seems that way....I guess my brain is already program to do it that way... what memories I wanna bring back...

 Brocktoon! LTNS!!! hows city of the brotherly love???!!!

:guilty: thats one thing I have not done is the sea-raycers... wish I could but scared I might fall in :lmao: this is one Duck who does not know how to swim or float :( ... yes love the tours... but have not done the KTTK... not ready to learn everything about the "down under" ...

Oh man, I have tons of must do's still. Its almost scary. I must eat at Fultons every trip (uh, that means about every other week now - or more ya know). Another must do is I HAVE HAVE HAVE to ride EE at least 4 times in a row, usually more. I also must visit Tune Inn Lounge to say hello to the friendliest bartenders in town. David, David, Alena, Julie and sometimes Enzo (though he was part time and is moving on) are just the best and love mixing it up with the guests. I have to do RnR and ToT as my nearly first rides at the parks. I also love exploring the nooks and crannies at AKL. . .this place is gorgeous and their gift shop has the most unique stuff in it. Its my fave. . .

Hmmmm, this last trip I spent more time at MK than normal (I am from the west coast and DLR so MK is less a priority than the other parks). Splash Mountain may become a ritual. I love the ride vehicle better than the one at DLR, HOWEVER, I like the ride at DLR better. . .more cohesive. Dang, its amazing how many must do's I can come up with. . .I better quit now or this will be a book. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I have gone 6 times a year (approximately) since 2008 and still can't get enough. . .now that I live here I love running over to do one of my faves. . .the other day on the way home from work I stopped in at Tune Inn just to have a drink and say hi. That was awesome. . .

One new thing I had planned for this solo trip..... Randy had sent me "The Hidden Magic of WDW" by Susan Veness and I wanted to follow up on some of the things in the book that I havent seen yet, especially at WS, since I have to do that one slowly at my own pace.

I always have to have a piece of fudge from the shop in HS and must have a Dole Whip float.... (all of which I will not be doing this time since I am going total Sugar Free..... blah) :lmao: Normally I do not touch sugar at any other time but allow myself the guilty pleasure while at the World, but not this time around...and no Mama Melrose Cheesecake either :faint:

:faint:

have never done any books but the Hidden Mickey Book because of nephew... used as a tool in keeping him busy while being in lines... I guess am just plain lazy to read... all the things I have done Disney are from hear say and self inflicted fun :lmao:

We have a ton of must-do's inc. California Grill for fireworks, Brown Derby for lunch for the HS day, sea raycers, and surrey rentals. Plus of course just about every ride in all the parks. Recently we've added a new tour each trip (last time was the Segway tour at EPCOT which was awesome). This time we're doing the Wilderness Back Country Adventure segway tour (or whatever it's called). I'd love to do the KTTK tour, or Walt's Footsteps, or many others, but if we do 1 per trip it def gives us something new to look forward to. Also, we are trying a TON of new-to-us restaurants this trip. Aside from the 2 mentioned above, I think all of them this year are new (and thats a lot considering we're doing 9 nts on DxDP!!).

We're also going to Universal/IOA for the first time this trip (not Disney...but different!). And, we like to stay at different hotels to check them out (mainly bc we'd like to buy DVC one day and I need to be sure of my home resort choice!).

thanks to these tips, I just ordered from half dot com:

Hidden Mickeys; and
The Hidden Magic of Walt Disney World

I can't wait to read them and discover new things on my next trip!:thumbsup2

I had already read up on the Hidden Mickeys online but I truly love The Hidden Magic of WDW as it had a lot of things in there that I had never heard before so I think you will truly enjoy your purchase :)

I was able to do both but when I did the WBCA Segway was under the weather and was not really happy with it... you have to come back and tell us what you think about it...

Yes... doing the HP this upcoming trip also so that would be another 1st

Have you tried renting DVC points so you can get a fee of the DVC resorts and make a decision where your heart belogs :)

Yes!! We're renting points for the first time for our upcoming stay! That's how we're staying at AKV & BCV! Thanks for the tip though, I only just heard about this about a year ago, otherwise we prob would have stayed at a Mod again!

:thumbsup2 Simba's Mom that was a 1st that now I try to add with my ADR... thats my 2nd Fave ADR in that resort.. Boma being no. 1 of course :thumbsup2

My must do for every Disney trip is the FOTLK show.
Just not a complete Disney trip until I hear the music!

On our upcoming Oct trip I promised Mom a ride in Characters in Flight - although I am afraid of heights. We shall see.

I have my favorites - mostly the signature restaurants, which is why I get the Tables in Wonderland card every year now - saves a bundle on lavish meals which for me is part of the experience. Artist Point, Bistro, Jiko and HBD are my faves. I have to eat at at least one of those each time I visit.

I do make an effort to try something new each trip. For this upcoming trip, we have a ressie at Sanaa which I haven't tried yet. Also, Lights Motor Action - strange as it may sound, I've never seen that. We also want to do KP for all the countries on this trip.

5 days and counting.. can't wait!!!
