One New thing from your recent trip! Or a Must Do!

1) Make sure I you look for the one hidden MINNIE on property. It's in the mural behind the ride vehicles and you enter in the loading area of The Great Movie Ride. If you can't find it, usually the cast members can point it out for you.

2) This upcoming trip we're going to Drink Around the World for the first time. I promised my BF no matching shirts, but he's agreeing to wear silly shirts that day. A fellow diser posted a great logo that will go on the front. The back will have a checklist and I'll bring a sharpie to actually check them off and have new friends sign our shirts.

In all my trips to WDW I have never had a turkey leg! Since I will be going in the middle of Nov., I have decided to try one.

never had one either... does it count that I bought one one time and took it back at the resort and dropped it in a pot of water and noodle and made turkey soup noodle out of it it feed the whole Gang!

You got it!!! Thank God it was at the Carriage house, the pop machine was at the back they did not even notice I used a POP Mug the kids were happy!!! Free Pop

I would have brought the right mug if I have known that we were getting the free upgrade!!! But oh well it did all work well at the end

This past Saturday, we rented a little boat from the Yacht Club, and went tooling around Crescent Lake, up to DHS and back. It was fun, cheap, and a great way to get away from the crowds for an hour.

It was about noon.

I am a brave old soul my dear....
and I can always sleep on a chaise lounge if need be...since I am told
I am going to be consuming so many margaritas I will probably pass out on one anyway...did you ever consider that perhaps it is YOU that should be scared....lol
and.............. I know of one thing I forgot to add that I always have to do....

Hello everyone!

Glad to join this discussion. We always get a margarita from the stand outside Mexico. We used to always start our trips with dinner at R&C watching Illuminations, until they wouldn't let us wait for a table with a good view. They sat us at the worst table so we ate as quick as possible, got out of there and found a spot. So that tradition was gone a few years ago.

We always dine at one or two Signature restaurants on every trip, but every trip we try to visit a new TS restaurant. Last trip in January was Fulton's, CA Grill (finally!) and Paradisio 37. We definitely enjoyed eating there, and want to go back again.

Until we have tried every DVC resort, we plan on staying at as many as we can.

Anyway back to topic ... I recently heard that they may have a new Animal Kingdom Safari tour next year. Also I saw some blog pics posted with the Bacon Bourbon drink at the Blue Zoo bar. I think next year's trip will need to include the AK tour as well as a vist to the Blue Zoo lounge.
