My mother and I are going to WDW in May, and since I'm the official planner, I've picked our ADRs. I have one hole in my plans though, on Tuesday, I can't seem to figure out what restaurant to book for dinner, I want to pick something affordable, but not too similar to what we're having other nights. We don't eat sushi ;)

Does anyone have any good suggestions for this night? It doesn't matter what park it is in, and could even be a lunch suggestion, thanks! :hippie:

What about Coral Reef? We went there on our last trip and really enjoyed it. The server we had was very attentive, and the tanks were great entertainment.

I see you don't eat sushi......is fish ok?

We're absolutely fine with fish as long as it isn't too fishy, if that makes sense

Depends a bit on where you plan to be. Places I would recommend are:
Boma if you are near AK
Chefs de France, if Epcot
Wolgang Puck Cafe or Raglan Road if at DHS (nothing to recommend there)
MK, I would say 'Ohana, Kona or Crystal Palace but I see you have booked all 3 already.

Thank you for the suggestions! I totally overlooked Wolfgang Puck Cafe! Can't wait to try it :thumbsup2

Is your mom into tea? I think a fun mother/daughter afternoon is tea at the GF. You can order a set tea, or order a la carte off the menu. They have sandwiches, wonderful scones, strawberries and cream, and little pastries. It would have to be lunch. I think it would be a fun celebration together.

I have also heard great things about the Grand Floridian Café. I haven't been there personally. If you like sandwiches and ice cream, I've also heard wonderful things about the Plaza in MK. We are eating there for the first time in January. It would be a nice, affordable lunch as well. (You could do it for dinner too).

Where are you staying?

P.S. :welcome: to the DIS!
