I've just found out that our cruise is listed to dock at St. Thomas. I'm trying to decide if we should push ourselves to make it to St. John or just go to Coki beach/Coral World.

I got good advice about the ferry times ect. back in Jan. but I want to know about what time people pack it up at the beach and catch a taxi to make the 2pm ferry in time. Thanks.

I'd plan on leaving the beach at 1:30. It's approx a 10 minute drive back to town from Trunk, and in case there is a line for taxis at that time it will give you a little wiggle room. Also, you still have to buy your tickets and sometimes there can be a line for that at the ferry.

I agree, try to be off the beach by 1:30.

When is your cruise?

What is the earliest time you can be on the beach at St. John's if you do your own arrangements? Also trying to figure out if it's worth going.

The earliest ferry you'll probably catch will be the 9AM out of Red Hook. That ferry is 20 minutes long, so you'll probably be off the ferry and on the beach by 9:45 at the earliest. The ferries from Red Hook only run every hour on the hour, so if you can't make the 9AM ferry, the next one isn't until 10AM, which put you on the beach at 10:45.
