The following are two FAQs that are available to Cast for OMDD

Will there be any extra entertainment, celebrities or special merchandise that day?

While there will be media activity such as radio and TV broadcasts, One More Disney Day is intended as a “thank you” to Guests, a first-of-its-kind, bicoastal event allowing families and friends to create 24 hours of continuous memories at a Disney theme park. Disney fun and entertainment is planned around the clock for Guests who will attend. A limited amount of commemorative merchandise will be available at both parks and is expected to be offered online for 48 hours following the event.

What attractions, Food & Beverage locations, Merchandise locations and Guest Services will be open?

After midnight, nearly all attractions will stay open, with a few brief, staggered closures planned for routine nightly maintenance. Each park will close at 6 a.m. March 1 and welcome Guests again at 9 a.m. when daily operations resume. Both parks will ensure that at least one Food & Beverage venue with indoor seating will be open at all times. Table service will end around midnight, with a few exceptions. Several Food & Beverage locations will offer a breakfast menu early March 1. Select Merchandise locations will have limited hours, while others will remain open at all times. Key Guest services at both parks including transportation, bag check, Main Entrance, Security, First Aid and the Baby Care Center will be fully operational for all 24 hours, with staffing adjusted to meet demand.

In addition, in discussing around there will probably be three groups of people in the "wee small hours" of March 1.

Largest group will be the Disney Freaks (such as those of us who inhabit DisBoards (and/or similar) and podcasters and bloggers.

Next largest will be Cast Members who are there to harass others who are working,

And last (and probably least) are Guests who were not really aware of this whole thing, found out about it, and decided to see what it was all about.

I for one will be getting off work Wednesday about 1:00pm. I will go home and go to sleep early, getting up about 2:00am and then going over to MK. When I get thrown out at 6:00 I will go to a Perkins for breakfast and then change into costume for my shift which starts at 8:30.

Thank you for sharing this info Cheshire Figment! I hope we bump into each other!

Thanks for the info! Please keep us updated with anymore information that comes out. I will be one of the freaks that took 3 days off work and will be flying in from Canada to be there for it!!!

Each park? Both parks? What else is going to be open aside for MK? I'm taking off three days to come home to the mothership.

Disneyland Park and Magic Kingdom at WDW are the ones that will be open 24 hours. The rest of the stateside parks are keeping typical operating hours that day.

Sounds great! I'm still not sure if we'll go to the MK for leap day. Maybe, we're going to DHS that day & DTD, guess it depends on how tired we all are at the end of the day.

Here is a great report from WDWNEWSTODAY.:)

It is the first report I've seen that lists the possibility of Mickey and Minnie appearing in their Pajamas! How fun!:)

"We are only 10 days away from “One More Disney Day”, a 24 hour celebration at the Magic Kingdom from 6AM on February 29th through 6AM on March 1st. With that being said, official information on this event has been scarce up until now, but finally we have a special entertainment schedule for the event:

Welcome Show – 5:50AM

Wishes! nighttime spectacular – 8PM

The Magic, The Memories, and You! – 7:45PM, 9PM, 11PM, & 5:30AM

Main Street Electrical Parade – 10PM, 12AM

Disney Fairies at Adventureland Veranda – 9:15AM-5:30AM

Aladdin Characters – 6:30AM-3:45PM

Tangled Meet & Greet – 9:15AM-5:30AM

Alice in Wonderland Characters – 6:15AM-12:15PM

Winne the Pooh Characters – 10:15AM-3:30AM

Frontierland Hoedown – 2:45AM, 3:30AM, 4:30AM

Woody and Jessie Meet and Greet – 9:30AM-4:30AM

Frontierland Character Meet and Greet – 6AM-2:35PM

Main Street Trolley Show - 6:15AM, 7:15AM, 8:15AM, 9:15AM, 10:10AM, 12PM

Disney Princesses at Town Square Theater – 9AM-5:30AM

Mickey Mouse at Town Square Theater – 6AM-10PM

So, what is of interest on this schedule? Well the midnight performance of Electrical Parade and the 5:30AM showing of “The Magic, The Memories, and You!” are pretty special. There are also 3 performances of the Frontierland Hoedown (a personal favorite), all in the early morning hours on Thursday.

As far as character meet and greets are concerned, Aladdin, Alice in Wonderland, Frontierland, and Mickey Mouse experiences are all pretty much opening with the park on Wednesday, while the Fairies, Tangled, Pooh, Toy Story, and Princess meet and greets are all running until the early morning hours on Thursday.

Anything not listed above is operating on a normal schedule. Some surprise meet and greet experiences are expected, including (but not limited to) Mickey and Minnie appearing in their pajamas in the early morning hours on Thursday.

It is important to note that most attractions will stay open throughout the 24 hours, but all attractions will be expected to close for a short period at some point so maintenance can be performed. This schedule has not been made available yet."

Hi all! I am counting down the days til I get to spend the night in the Magic Kingdom!

I was so inspired by the number of DISer who will making there way out for "One More Disney Day" that I joined in the efforts of the DISboards POWER of 10 effort to raise money for Give Kids the World!

We are all of lucky to be able to make the trip to Disney for this fun event; wouldn't it be great to pass that good fortune on to others? Give Kids the World helps provides Magical vacations for children with life-threatening diseases and their families.

Please join me in DIS's fundraising efforts for this incredible cause. You can donate to Give Kids the World here: http://www.firstgiving.com/fundraise...undraisingpage and I'd love to give you a token for your donation. I'm doing a GKTW Meet at Midnight for MSEP. Join us before the the midnight MSEP and claim your prize for donating. You are not required to stay!

Thanks in advance for supporting this awesome charity!
