The following are two FAQs that are available to Cast for OMDD
In addition, in discussing around there will probably be three groups of people in the "wee small hours" of March 1.
Largest group will be the Disney Freaks (such as those of us who inhabit DisBoards (and/or similar) and podcasters and bloggers.
Next largest will be Cast Members who are there to harass others who are working,
And last (and probably least) are Guests who were not really aware of this whole thing, found out about it, and decided to see what it was all about.
I for one will be getting off work Wednesday about 1:00pm. I will go home and go to sleep early, getting up about 2:00am and then going over to MK. When I get thrown out at 6:00 I will go to a Perkins for breakfast and then change into costume for my shift which starts at 8:30.
Will there be any extra entertainment, celebrities or special merchandise that day?
While there will be media activity such as radio and TV broadcasts, One More Disney Day is intended as a thank you to Guests, a first-of-its-kind, bicoastal event allowing families and friends to create 24 hours of continuous memories at a Disney theme park. Disney fun and entertainment is planned around the clock for Guests who will attend. A limited amount of commemorative merchandise will be available at both parks and is expected to be offered online for 48 hours following the event.
What attractions, Food & Beverage locations, Merchandise locations and Guest Services will be open?
After midnight, nearly all attractions will stay open, with a few brief, staggered closures planned for routine nightly maintenance. Each park will close at 6 a.m. March 1 and welcome Guests again at 9 a.m. when daily operations resume. Both parks will ensure that at least one Food & Beverage venue with indoor seating will be open at all times. Table service will end around midnight, with a few exceptions. Several Food & Beverage locations will offer a breakfast menu early March 1. Select Merchandise locations will have limited hours, while others will remain open at all times. Key Guest services at both parks including transportation, bag check, Main Entrance, Security, First Aid and the Baby Care Center will be fully operational for all 24 hours, with staffing adjusted to meet demand.
