One last MEGA WDW trip before we adopt 3 under the age of 3!!! Sept '11 *new 9/30*

Subbing! You are such a wonderful woman, and your children are absolutely beautiful! Hope the hand gets better! Can't wait for another update!

I hope your hand is feeling better. That looks very painful.

Thankfully it is healing so nicely, and the boys are back home...and that makes me very, very happy! :goodvibes

Thank you! I am finally able to type as only 2 of the fingers aren't allowed to bend...turns out I am a decent typer with two straight as a board fingers! hahaha

Pete's Dragon!

We got to see Main Street Electrical Parade in December and the kids had no idea what this float was:

I kept trying to explain it. I was sure we had seen this together. It was a favorite of mine growing up and I just assumed we had watched it.

I was in a resale shop the other day and I found a DVD copy in g-r-e-a-t condition for $2.99!! :yay: We watched it last night and Elsa fell in love! She laughed so hard and really appreciated it, and that made me happy!

The boys came back on Monday night and I was a little freaked out about getting back into taking care of all of them all at the same time. It felt like I was starting at square one and I wasn't sure how one takes care of that many kids all at once...which totally doesn't make sense because I have been doing it for so long already! Thankfully we settled right back into our old life and it's so good to have them home! :goodvibes

My hand is healing so nicely, and for that I am super thankful! I have another week before I can bend my pointer and middle fingers, but all the stitches are out and it's mending superbly!

I'm in!

Congrats on all your new kiddos! My cousin fostered and adopted a set of siblings too. I wish you smooth sailing through your process!

Looking forward to hearing about the rest of your plans.

Nice to hear that your fingers are recovering smoothly. :) Those previously pictures were really scary. I can't imagine not having hand available and running house and kids. Are you almost to double digits yet?

Yay on getting Pete's Dragon for $2.99 and Elsa falling in love with it! :yay:

Am pleased to hear your hand is better and the boys are back.

Yay for Elsa liking Pete's Dragon! I love that movie too. It was always on TV when I was growing up and I adore the songs. Passamaquady! :goodvibes

Subbing in!

I love your TR's and you have a beautiful family!

Good luck with your hand. I fought the garbage can 2 weeks ago and that won out....

Hidden Mickey

We were sitting watching History channel's Modern Marvel's 2 hour take on Disney and Elsa yelled, "Hey!!! We have a hidden Mickey!" She then pointed to the little boys play house (that is in our living room) and we all had a good chuckle!

I have been online every morning in hopes of getting a reservation to Cinderella's Royal Table for breakfast on our last day at the park. I have struck out every morning. I really, really, really, really want to do it this trip. I am not interested in the food or the characters...just eating in the castle!!! :goodvibes

Keep your Disney fingers crossed that a breakfast slot will open up for 5 on our last day!

ON A NON-DISNEY NOTE:

Elsa got a haircut last night! She love, love, loves it and I can't believe how much older she looks!

Thank you!

I have a new-found respect for hand wounds. I hope you heal quickly!!

Fingers crossed for you to get into CRT!

I'll have to check out the Modern Marvels epi on WDW... my oldest DD would love that.

And I love the new haircut... it looks great on her! I can't convince my DDs to cut their hair short... I keep telling them it will be so much cooler for summer, but they like their hair long.

I don't read a lot of pre-trip reports, as I can barely keep up with trip reports, but your title and your story caught my eye. I have grown children - two by birth and one by adoption from Korea, so adoption is near and dear to my heart. I have also done some part-time fostering in the form of freeing up weekends for houseparents, and at one time we were beginning to talk of adopting two brothers, ages 5 and 6. Their dad did come around, though, and take them back.

I'd love to follow along on your wait for what I hope is a most magical trip. :wizard: Your older kids seem like incredible young people already. I love that new haircut, too. Very cute!

It's great that you can share the love of Disney with your parents and that they can enjoy wonderful times with their precious grandchildren. For me, being in Disney World with my two granddaughters and the rest of my family is absolutely my heaven on earth. :)

Lol at finding a hidden mickey on the boys play house!! Spotting them at Disney World shouldn't be a problem!

Love Elsa's new haircut - she looks so grown up.

Good luck with getting an ADR for CRT! :wizard:

:dance3: for your kids in the play! That is awesome!!! And how very cool that Michael had one of the male leads! :thumbsup2

And, you are completely adorable! I love pics! So glad you got free dining and didn't miss the FD Party! :cheer2: Such a great savings!!!!

When we started planning this trip we knew we wanted Meema and Peepa to join us.

:yay: Glad to hear they can join you! And that you won't have to be the Official Pal Mickey Listener. :lmao:

GOOD! Oh my word, that had to HURT. Owieeeee! And then the boys being away, that makes the hurt even worse! Glad they are home now and things are running more normal. Hopefully the hand is all back to normal too!

Good eye Elsa! And LOVE THE NEW CUT! She looks adorable! And yes, very grown up! Why does that happen when kids cut their hair??? :sad2:

Fingers crossed for that CRT ressie!

Just found your PTR and I'm joining in! Your family is adorable, how exciting for the new children on the way!!

Your plans sound like so much fun! I'm excited that you introduced Pete's Dragon to your family, isn't that a cute movie?? :goodvibes
