One last MEGA WDW trip before we adopt 3 under the age of 3!!! Sept '11 *new 9/30*

Fingers crossed for you to get into CRT!

I'll have to check out the Modern Marvels epi on WDW... my oldest DD would love that.

And I love the new haircut... it looks great on her! I can't convince my DDs to cut their hair short... I keep telling them it will be so much cooler for summer, but they like their hair long.

Thanks! Here's my hope we get CRT dance ---> :cool1:

Elsa's haircut is adorable! :thumbsup2

Fingers crossed for CRT! :wizard:

Thanks, she still stops to check it out in every mirror we pass!

I don't read a lot of pre-trip reports, as I can barely keep up with trip reports, but your title and your story caught my eye. I have grown children - two by birth and one by adoption from Korea, so adoption is near and dear to my heart. I have also done some part-time fostering in the form of freeing up weekends for houseparents, and at one time we were beginning to talk of adopting two brothers, ages 5 and 6. Their dad did come around, though, and take them back.

I'd love to follow along on your wait for what I hope is a most magical trip. :wizard: Your older kids seem like incredible young people already. I love that new haircut, too. Very cute!

It's great that you can share the love of Disney with your parents and that they can enjoy wonderful times with their precious grandchildren. For me, being in Disney World with my two granddaughters and the rest of my family is absolutely my heaven on earth. :)

Happy to have you join us!

Fostering has really changed our lives for the better! I encourage everyone who has a heart for it to really consider it.

I love Elsa's new haircut. She looks so~ stylish! :goodvibes:thumbsup2

Elsa tends to be a little funky when it comes to her style and this haircut really captured that!

Lol at finding a hidden mickey on the boys play house!! Spotting them at Disney World shouldn't be a problem!

Love Elsa's new haircut - she looks so grown up.

Good luck with getting an ADR for CRT! :wizard:

Thank you. I really, really hope we get the ressie!

:dance3: for your kids in the play! That is awesome!!! And how very cool that Michael had one of the male leads! :thumbsup2

And, you are completely adorable! I love pics! So glad you got free dining and didn't miss the FD Party! :cheer2: Such a great savings!!!!

:yay: Glad to hear they can join you! And that you won't have to be the Official Pal Mickey Listener. :lmao:

GOOD! Oh my word, that had to HURT. Owieeeee! And then the boys being away, that makes the hurt even worse! Glad they are home now and things are running more normal. Hopefully the hand is all back to normal too!

Good eye Elsa! And LOVE THE NEW CUT! She looks adorable! And yes, very grown up! Why does that happen when kids cut their hair??? :sad2:

Fingers crossed for that CRT ressie!

My dear Brook without an E!! It might take you longer to get around to reading the PTR but you are faithful!

Just found your PTR and I'm joining in! Your family is adorable, how exciting for the new children on the way!!

Your plans sound like so much fun! I'm excited that you introduced Pete's Dragon to your family, isn't that a cute movie?? :goodvibes

We  Pete's Dragon! Happy to have you along for the ride! :goodvibes

I just found your PTR and really enjoyed your December TR. I remember how great I thought your kids were. And now you are adopting three little boys. That is thoroughly impressive. You are obviously a very generous, special person to open up your heart and your house in that way.

Congratulations on your upcoming trip. It sounds amazing!

Elsa's haircut is adorable! It's 100 days now, but before you know it it will be here! It will come and go so fast. How's the hand doing? Hope all is well with the kiddos. Are they out of school soon?

Someone just turned 14!!!

I know I have said it before, but I just don't know where the time went. How can my first born be 14? I just celebrated my 36th birthday and didn't feel a day over 27...but he turns 14 and I feel like I should be hobbling around with a cane.

We celebrated with one of his friends on Saturday with a night at the drive-in. We saw Kung Fu Panda II and Thor. Wait. Let me clarify. Michael and his friend watched from the back of the van with the seats folded down and out of the way. Elsa watched from the grassy section where the speakers blast the sound. I slept through both movies next to Elsa in that grassy section. Either my lawn chair was too comfortable or I was really, really tired! :rotfl: I saw 10 minutes of KFPII and saw about 15 minutes of Thor. But the kids had a great time and that was the point, right?!!

We live waaaaaay out in the boonies but it still made me laugh that this is right behind the drive-in screen (this is off of my cell phone...sorry for the poor quality)

Yesterday was his actual birthday and we had a great day! Before he went to school I made him pose for some pictures:

It was a lovely day!

Up Next: I'M STILL HERE!

Congrats on your 100 day mark!!

I know what you mean about the kids getting older. How does that happen when I don't age at all?? My oldest is 13 - will be 14 at the end of the year. And she has a boyfriend. Now that will age you quickly!

Those cupcakes look fabulous (and yummy, too!)... did you make them? Great idea for a "theme"!

Love your story! You are one brave woman to have all of those kids all of the time...especially when the three are so young! Go you! :goodvibes

Congrats on 100 day!!! and Happy 14th!!! :cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

Those cupcakes are very cool.
I also watched Kung Fu Panda 2. I thought it was really funny.
However, I could have easily traded that with a nice nap.

Thank you! That would make me feel VERY old! :rotfl:

I did make them and they were super yummy! We have 2 cupcakes books and I ask the kids a month before what they want. They take time but are relatively easy!

Thanks and welcome!!!

Thank you!! I needed the nap more than I needed a movie

I'm joining in! It is wonderful to see people who open up their home to children in foster care, and on top of that love them so much to make them apart of their family. I have 9 adopted cousins in the family so it is heartwarming to hear how loving your children and you are!

And wow! Kudos to you with 3 under 3 years! I thought it was rough when I had 2 under 2 but you are the woman!!!

Elsa's haircut is adorable!

:woohoo: for double digits!

Happy Belated Birthday Michael!!

My dear Brook without an E!! It might take you longer to get around to reading the PTR but you are faithful!

Yes! That's me - old slow and faithful. ;) So true though!

HAPPY (belated) BIRTHDAY TO MICHAEL! Looks like it was a great birthday - with the cows. :rotfl:

I LOVE his expression with the present, obviously Momma picked well. :thumbsup2

Congrats on double-digits!

3 under 3 sure does make for some busy days, but we love it!

Her hair is really growing on me!

We have lots and lots of cows here! :rotfl:

I'M STILL HERE!!!!

Sorry for being absent, but we have been busy, busy, busy! How busy you ask? Busy and sleep deprived enough to spend a while trying to put a size four diaper on a 2 month old. After realizing it was the wrong size I started looking around for the size 1 diaper, only to find it squeezing the life out of our 2 year old, E. :lmao:

Anywho, during this rush and go time I stopped at my favorite Salvation Army and found this:

DSC08596.JPG

...and he loves it! I don't think it was even ever worn. :thumbsup2

Elsa and I have been talking about what we wanted to do special with our nails for our trip and we tried it out yesterday. I am tickled with how it turned out! So in 2 months, 2 weeks, and 2 days we will be painting up our fingernails and toenails again like this:

DSC08599.JPG

I keep trying everyday for our breakfast in the castle but so far it is a no go. :sad2: I really hope something becomes available! *fingers crossed*

Up Next: I LIKE ME THE EVEN NUMBERS!!

Nice nails. Love those nails. I think I'm going to try something like that for my toe nails. :goodvibes

Loving the PTR so far! Congrats on the new additions to your family!
OUCH on the hand, hope it's healed by now...

Can't wait to read more!
