One day visit to MK on EMH day...

Am I insane? Should I choose another park? We will be in town on the MK EMH day in just a few weeks and while I would typically avoid a one day visit to a WDW park on its EMH day, I really want to swing by MK that day.

Am I crazy? Will crowds be a thousand times worse? I'm hoping that since it's September, the crowds won't be horrible.

Unless you are going during Labor Day weekend, I would not let EMH be the reason you do not go to MK, if that is where you want to go.

Traditionally crowds start thinning in late August. I have heard this summer was "light" though and wonder if that is at least partially due to the ticket pricing, and if some of that former summer demand will shift to fall? Or was it lost forever? Anyway, I would say don't fear EMH in September for a park you want to go to .

We had only one day at MK on Friday July 15 before our cruise. I was nervous when they made it EMH as we normally avoid these but it was amazing! The welcome show starts at 740am on EMH days so be there early. The first hour alone we did Buzz, Pooh, Dumbo, Barnstormer, Tea cups, carousel, and little mermaid and we're still over to big thunder just after 9am!!! We saw and rode everything, got three extra sets of FPs on my phone after the first three. Saw both the 3pm and night parade plus wishes. Had lunch at BOG. very long but amazing day!!! Our longest wait with a good plan was 20 minutes

We don't even pay attention to EMH's. We live 2 hours away and drive up on a Saturday whenever the urge hits. Heck, we don't even get there at rope drop! (gasp!!) We even went to AK on Memorial Day weekend and the crowds weren't terrible.
