Hello Everyone,

My fiancé and I are putting together our dining (dinner) reservations for our stay in June. We are staying for seven days, six nights and here is what we have so far:

Day One: OPEN
Day Two: OPEN
Day Three: Ohana
Day Four: Be Our Guest
Day Five: La Hacienda de San Angel
Day Six: Boma

As you can see, there are two spots open and my fiancé and I are stumped. We are not too interested in Italian cuisine because we live in Rhode Island where it's abundant. Lol.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

Is day one your arrival day? How early in the day will you arrive? Are you going to the parks on day one and two? Which ones?
If you're doing a second day at Epcot, Spice Road Table, Tokyo Dining, and Les Chefs are nice. Rather than eating dinner in MK, you could try the Wave at the Contemporary.

Yes, day one is our arrival day.
We will be landing in the morning at 8:00am.
We are going to the parks every day and likely be staying in Epcot during the day and Magic Kingdom at night.

We've been to Les Chefs de France before but want to try something new. Although I've never been to Tokyo Dining...then again, my fiancé and I are not big sushi eaters.

There are so many choices but here are some:
DS-Raglan Road
Contemporary-The Wave
GF-Grand Floridian Cafe
MK-Liberty Tree Tavern (awesome at lunch)

some of DW and my favorites are LTT for lunch and California Grill about an hour before wishes starts (if you can get it) to watch the fireworks from the balcony (but thats 2 credits). Considering the lunch prices at LTT we often pay out of pocket, figure $20 per person, and splurge on a signature dining experience thats a little more romantic, or if you never have done it, Hoop Dee Do Review is worth 2 TS credits for the fun and the fried chicken.

we always go to Biergarten in Epcot ...love the atmosphere and dinner choices.. Teppan Edo in Japan is a fun eating time and also very good...

Hello there! A few of our favourites are Kona Cafe at Poly, Via Napoli and Coral Reef at Epcot, Raglan Road at Disney Springs, and Tusker House at Animal Kingdom if you are open to a buffet....they have an interesting mix of African and American cuisine.

Good luck with your choices. I hope you have a great trip!

I've heard such great things about Raglan Road and I think that may be one I finally add to the list this year!

Tusker House looks like a really cool place but heard it's better for breakfast; we're much dinner people. Lol.

Biergarten is another one I have been wanting to try but my fiance isn't 100% comfortable having to sit cafeteria style with other people. I've thought of Teppan Edo (but same style as Biergarten - sitting with others) and have had hibachi style Japanese many times in my home state.

we never have had issues with people who sit with us at Biergarten..my husband sat across from me..and the others did talk to us..and we ate and commented on things they said..but it wasnt bad...just love it there...give it a try..maybe ask if you can sit in an area by yourselves...OH almost forgot..one time a few years back..it was just my husband and myself...and we sat with Disney Cm's on their night off...we had a blast ..they even asked if we wanted to do shots with them....hahaha...we didnt but they were a grreat group

Sanaa: Superb restaurant at reasonable (by Disney) prices, very good food (especially recommend the bread service--a meal unto itself), good wine list, and quality service. If it's light out, you should be able to see animals loitering about the grounds.

I would definitely do Biergarten if I were you. I wasn't too sold on it at first but it was a blast! It's a very fun and loose atmosphere and people are all having a great time. The hall is beautiful! Of course, I did it years ago so I can't tell how the food is now but it was good when I did it. Hopefully you can convince your fiancee to at least try it once.

Another restaurant I make sure to do every trip is Narcoosees! It's wonderful, particularly if you enjoy seafood, and with the Wishes fireworks, it makes for a memorable evening! If you get there a bit early, you can always get a drink at the bar and take it outside on the verandah and look out across to MK. So nice! It may be a bit more expensive that what you're looking for but it's worth it!

I second this choice...the whole family LOVED this place!! We can't wait to eat there in June!

Coral Reef gets a bad rep from a lot of people, but we love it. Make an early ADR, then request tankside seating when you arrive, and it's even better.

Biergarten's another personal favorite.

Since you're staying at Coronado, how about Maya Grill for your arrival day?

We really enjoyed rose and crown on the first day of our last trip. My two year old had a blast dancing to the piano music in his chair and the laid back atmosphere and drinks were great after a long day. If you can time tour reservation right and sit outside you can watch illuminations from the patio too.

Hi Everyone and thank you for all the input. I tried really hard to convince her about Biergarten but she wouldn't budge  So here is our current dinner reservation list. I appreciate any additional input and feedback.

Day 1: Mama Melrose's with Fantasmic 1st Show - I'm still not 100% sold on this because I wasn't looking for Italian food but we want to see the Fantasmic show.

Day 2: La Hacienda de San Angel

Day 3: 'Ohana

Day 4: Be Our Guest

Day 5: Boma - Flavors of Africa

Day 6: Cape May Cafe
