We have stayed at the Contemporary a couple of times~really, we didn't fully appreciate the "deluxe concept" at the time, and since then have stayed at Value Resorts. Now, in February, we are getting a wonderful gift: DH is going to attend a Disney Institute training seminar, and we will be staying at the Boardwalk Inn. Will we be spoiled for life?? When we go back to ASMo or PC (on OUR dime)...will be longing for the plush, good life?

That is wonderful that you are a pastor. God bless you and Gadisneygirl. That is one of the hardest jobs IN THE WORLD. And I can't agree more with your consensus. WDW is expensive and once in a while it is nice to splurge, but when you compare it to other things (even a trip to Israel) sometimes you just have to scale it down. It's easy to get carried away, it's so much fun.
And then, the next year, he and I alone went back to WL.
