Well I'm happy that we now know for sure that Mr. Gold knows that he is Rumple. I think the EQ is still the only one that knows the whole truth because she knows that Belle is still alive bit Rumple doesn't and I think that will play a big part at some point.
I don't understand why Regina didn't know that Gold was Rumplestilskin. Doesn't she know who everyone else is?
Well we got the answer on how the dark curse will be broken - it will be with a kiss - as stated by the EQ during tonight's episode "Every curse can be broken with true loves kiss". So the big mystery is - who will Emma fall in love with that will be then one that helps her break the curse. Emma is not one to fall in love easily so this will be an interesting unveiling
It was also great to see the reference to Chip from the Disney version of beauty and the beast.
And it looks like its gonna be an all out war now that Regina knows that Gold is Rumple.
I gotta say I loved this episode!![]()
And did anyone notice the clerk in the store where PC bought his cards, sneezed?
Anyone have any guesses as to who the girl in the hallway was/is and what role she'll play? The one holding the mop whom Regina passed while going to see Belle. They focused on her just a little too long and she was just a little too out of place to be a random person. (I think it was a woman - I was a little distracted and didn't look closely enough).
Noticed a few funny references.
When Rumple is yelling into the mirror, the tapestry that is reflected has a unicorn lying inside a fence. That tapestry is in Harry Potter (its actually in the queue for WWOHP at Universal).
Also the flower van is named Game of Thorn's (Game of Thrones)
And finally when the EQ is confronting Rumple at the end, isn't that MIckey's sorcerer hat behind the EQ?
Geez, this whole show is an easter egg.

I find it interesting that the power of "please" is only used when you want Regina to shut up.![]()
I don't think Regina/EQ knows everything - she must not know Emma's true identity as Snow & Ch arming's daughter.
What *we* now know is that both Regina/EQ and Gold/Rumple know about the curse and who everybody really is in Storebrooke; and each one knows at least one thing that the other doesn't: Rumple knows Emma's true identity (and Regina doesn't), and Regina knows that Belle is alive (and Rumple doesn't).
Oh, Regina knew Gold was Rumpel all along. Perhaps she wasn't positive that he knew about the curse, and asking his true name was her way of finding out for sure. Plus, Rumpel seems to gain some "power" or something by knowing people's names, so by forcing Rumpel to tell her his name, Regina/EQ was trying to show she had some power over him.
Incredible episode. I laughed out loud with the chipped cup. Laughed even harder when Gaston came to Rumple's place for the challenge and how that ended.
As for the curse breaking "true love's kiss" I don't think it will be either EQ or Emma that will having the all important smooch. I think it is 1 of 2 options.
It's either:
1) Snow and PC. I know, I know... they've had their smooches. But they were never true. They were always with a hint of guilt about what they were doing.
or
2) Rumple and Belle. Why else would EQ keep her in a NORAD style psycho ward if not to keep her from him? And since the curse was originally his creation, her true love has already shown to return his humanity and remove his power.
I do not see MIckey's sorcerer hat behind EQ/Regina.
I did see a BIG blue flag standing behind her when she walks over and it does kind of look like it but it isn't.
Is that what you guys are talking about?
Over all it was a great episode, but one thing puzzles me and that is that Rumpelstiltskin is two characters, Rumpelstiltskin & the Beast. Is this because he turns into the beast? I would have never guessed that he would have been the beast, but I guess it makes since. I'm talking in circles.
Also, why did he trust the queen when she told him about Belle? Why didn't he go see for himself?
I loved it so much, I think I'm going to watch it again.![]()
No. In Rumple's house (not Mr Gold's house), he has several "trinkets" around the room. If you look in the background, you'll the puppets (which look like they are floating rather than on a pedestal), Cogsworth and Lumiere which are on a side table, a sword which seems to be on a stand and a sorcerer's hat which is on a pedestal.
I thought that was a man!?!I recorded the show and had just turned it on double checking that I got it when that scene happened...so no idea on anything else, but I did think it was a guy and wondering who it was.

The name of the florist shop on the van is cool. I wonder if it is meant as an homage, or the creators way of thumbing their noses and sticking up for Damon Lindelof after all the hubub with George R.R. Martin over the LOST finale. I can't imagine it is the latter, but if so, fellas...time to let it go. I'm sure the must be fans of the book and/or show.
It was definitely a guy and the funny thing is the first thing I thought about was that Native American guy in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.
After all, she was in the town's looney bin![]()
Who was the nurse behind the desk? With that hair style, you just know she's a villain.
