Once Upon A Time

So, I decided tonight that this is my new favorite show (usurping Parenthood). It's ridiculous how much I look forward to every week.

Loved how they wrapped a lot of things in tonight.

Loved how so many of the characters are not black/white - have depth - moral ambiguity that even they struggle with.

1) Dr Wale is Dr Frankenstein? I didn't see that coming at all

2) Forget charming i'm "hooked" an now want to be a pirate wench lol

I didn't see it coming at all either and that's because how could we? Frankenstein isn't a fairytale character or even close. I'm not wild about him being Frankenstein if he really is. It really doesn't fit...Frankenstein wouldn't have been in their realm, I guess maybe being from another realm is possible, but it doesn't make any sense at all that he'd be in Storybrooke.

I love this show! I love watching all the Rumple scenes and how complex he is, great acting.

I want to like Mulan and Aurora but just don't. Maybe we just need more of their backstory.

Last night's episode was so fun and loved all the twists, Rumple as the crocodile was brilliant.

I was thinking the same thing about Hook! :) even my DD(4) told me that out of all the Hooks, at Disney and on Jake and the Neverland Pirates, she likes this one the best because he's "super handsome". I have to say, I agreed with her :goodvibes

Did anyone else think there might be some significance to Charming brushing off his hands and saying "I hate mine dust"? (or something like that) Maybe fairy dust looks different in Storybrooke? It just stuck out to me for some reason. (but I was sewing costumes while watching and not giving it my full attention so maybe that's why)

I loved how they made Rumple the Crocodile!

Neither did I until now! I don't even think that DH even picked that up and he's usually very good at things like that. I think he will be surprised when I tell him tonight.

I caught that too, with Charming and the brushing of the hand. I starting thinking about fairy dust right away with that!

I thought it was just to prepare the audience for the way Belle's father's hands looked -- Charming's hands looked similar because of the mine dust, and he was able to deduce that Belle was being taken in the mine.

Can't look, my tivo didn't record it on either tv even though it's one of the top priorities. :headache: Hopefully I'll be able to watch it online before next week's episode.

Oh that makes sense! I didn't see the part with Belles dad. (I'm assuming his hands were dusty?)
I should probably re-watch the episode because I'm sure I missed a lot.

Belle's father had mine dust on his hand, that's why they showed that because that's how Charming knew where to go look for her. Loved last nights episode!! Love all these episodes! LOL So glad it's back.

My first thought was that he was brushing fairy(mine) dust onto Henry who was standing next to him. That would give Henry magic.

So Rumple is now a coward, the Dark One, the Beast and the Crocodile. Is he all the villains rolled into one?

Dr Whale and Frankenstein..... Maybe they will now explain who was the nurse at the front desk in the hospital basement as well as the patient/janitor that was walking the halls.

Regina obviously knew about the basement. How could she have not known that Whale was Frankenstein?
