Once Upon A Time

My first thought was that he was brushing fairy(mine) dust onto Henry who was standing next to him. That would give Henry magic.

So Rumple is now a coward, the Dark One, the Beast and the Crocodile. Is he all the villains rolled into one?

The Rumple thing kinda bothered me. I liked the tie in with him being the Crocodile, but was annoyed that he was yet another role from a fairy tale. I hope it's not something they keep doing. He can't be everybody.

I loved last night's epsiode. Capt. Hook is my new favorite character. I can't wait to see what they do with him next.

Dr Whale and Frankenstein..... Maybe they will now explain who was the nurse at the front desk in the hospital basement as well as the patient/janitor that was walking the halls.

Regina obviously knew about the basement. How could she have not known that Whale was Frankenstein?

Maybe she did know- maybe she brought him there (via the curse) with the hopes that he could bring her Father and Daniel back....

Doesn't that sort of tie into his persona/character?

I think it kind of helps to tie in a bunch of different fairy tales that had nothing to do with eachother. He's what most of them have in common.

I'm a bit confused with that. Didn't Cora take out Daniel's heart and crush it, there-by killing him? I didn't think anyone could come back after that.

Question on something that I may have missed ......

Now that Snow & Emma are back in FTL -- how much time is supposed to have passed since the "curse" was enacted? Is it 28 years like in SB, Maine....or has time moved differently between the two lands?

I ask since nobody seems to have aged since the curse was started in FTL...

I see what you're saying. I keep thinking of the fairy tales as stand alone, and that wouldn't really work for this show. There has to be some sort of common thread to hold them all together. Besides there would be a lot of characters if they didn't double up every now and then.

I think it has something to do with the Storybrooke clock from season one. Time stood still in Fairytale Land until Emma decided to stay in Storybrooke and when the clock started moving, time starting moving again in Fairytale Land.

True. But I'm wondering what he's going to use since Daniel's heart is no more. Regina most likely not get what she's hoping for.

He'll use the heart that they found in the box that made everyone think that Mary-Margret killed PC's ex.

Regina has a wall of drawers I know some have hearts in them below her father's crypt.

They discussed it when Philip woke Aurora. The people left behind in FTL were frozen for 28 years, then were unfrozen. They didn't seem to know about the curse, but were unfrozen when Emma broke the curse.

It was actually Mulan who told Aurora after Philip had died. She said Aurora had been asleep for a year but during that year FTL was frozen in time for 28 years. Once the curse (of time being frozen) was broken and time started again she and Philip resumed their search for her. I think the curse of time being frozen in FTL was broken when the clock started working in Storybrooke.

I also think the clock tower is in some way tied with FTL. Time started there when the clock starting moving. Plus it's part of the Library where stories/fairy tales are stored.

Maybe the clock is the clock tower in Peter Pan?

Wasn't it broken too
