The show has redeemed itself for another season. If Elsa is anything like Zelina I am giving up! I enjoyed the finale. I felt bad for Regina cause I do like her, but I was so glad to see Robin's wife back. I am not a fan of that romance.
Very interesting! Especially considering a certain mirror's other show is cancelled. Is Mr. Glass returning? After reading online about the original fairy tale of the Snow Queen, I wonder if the character won't be more like that and not really Elsa at all. There is something about a mirror and the shards of that mirror and remember, the mirror that was in the room with the urn.
Really? Ariel is a redhead. Cinderella a blonde in a blue ball gown. Belle is a brunette in a yellow gown when we first see her, and in a blue and white dress when she is in Rumpelstiltskin's castle. Need I go on?I do think it's a cop-out. Especially since she looked exactly like a live action version of Elsa stepping straight out of the animated movie. All the other fairy tale characters on the show, Disney or otherwise, have their own look that does not rely heavily on the design of their cartoon counterpart.

Snip... Great episode over all! Couldn't help but laugh at the similarity to Back to the Future, with Emma watching from the bushes as her parent fell out of the tree!!!!
Didn't they already do a storyline with Genie? Wasn't he Sidney Glass in the first season? Regina cursed him to become the mirror? Or do I have that all wrong?
The last 30 seconds of last night's episode was the biggest letdown ever. And right after the most jaw-dropping moment..finding out the rescued woman was Maid Marion and what this will do to Regina next season!
Elsa? Really? If it were the Snow Queen I might give it a pass, but the character looked exactly like a live action Elsa. Frozen didn't exist when Once Upon A Time began its first season, so it should never even come into play. Just a shoehorned character to do current popularity. I am so disappointed with the writers for selling out this way. Yuck.
Everything else about this episode was absolutely epic!!! I loved the Back to the Future references! I loved seeing a lot of characters/situations from Season 1. This was a phenomenal episode save for the ending. I am sadly not looking forward to Season 4. But hopefully I'm, wrong about this b/c I love this show![]()
Frozen is based off of The Snow Queen, so it did exist before OUAT started. I don't see how it really matters anyway.
Just like every other character I'm sure she will tie in to some back story and I'm excited to see what that story is.
Didn't mean to insult you, just have a different opinion.
In my original post, I mentioned the Snow Queen (which, by the way, is a completely different story, but that's neither here nor there)...but it is clearly Elsa, based on the hair, dress, etc. There is a reason the majority of people were hoping the Wicked Witch would not be Elphaba. It should be based off the original story if they want to go the fairy tale route. Look, if they don't name her Elsa, and her story is actually based on the Snow Queen's, then I'll take it back and say I was wrong...but I know a marketing ploy when I see it... When it becomes about merchandising and what's "hot" at the moment, it becomes less and less about storyline/plot and more about selling toys and Blu Rays (i.e. Star Wars Episodes I & II, Cars 2, Transformers, etc.). You'll see - - the writing will suffer because she is shoehorned into the story.
And don't get me wrong, I loved Frozen! I saw it in 3D IMAX, I bought the BluRay...but it's getting to be way too much too quickly. This kind of overload is what makes something a "fad." They pushed the home video release out way too quickly (the movie came out November 27th, 2013 - - the DVDs & BluRays were release March 18th, 2014....less than FOUR months after the theatrical release) and didn't give the public a chance to breathe...and now it's infiltrating Once...I, along with many other people, am sick of Frozen already. I hate to say it, but it's true. They deserved to win the Oscar, it deserves a Broadway show....EVENTUALLY. But it is just too much at one time. Seeing Elsa pop up at the end of that episode had the reverse effect on my fiancee and I then the writers intended.
Again, if they give her a different name and she actually has the Snow Queen's backstory, then I will say I was 100% wrong. But only time shall tell.. Until then, "Who do I look like, Marty McFly?" <--- best line from OUAT to date![]()
Is there a particular reason you would have no interest in seeing Frozen?
I wasn't insulted at all!![]()
Eh, it doesn't really matter because when the show comes back I'll be all in, regardless of who the villain/hero is!
if they didn't capitalize on the popularity of Frozen it would be one of the worst business/ratings mistakes EVER. With a family friendly 7 p.m (central) time slot on a Sunday? Who wouldn't take advantage of that?

This is a show that uses the "B" word and the "A" word regularly. It's not a kid's show.
Am I the only one that was bothered by Rumple's and Belle's wedding?
Normally, I get all teary eyed at them, but this one bothered me immensely. He deceived Belle - lied right to her face. How could he then stand there, look her in the eyes, and say his vows? And that poor girl... her vows were so heartfelt. I felt simply awful for her. She has no idea what she is marrying.![]()
