"Once Upon a Dream" 4 Night Dream Cruise 10/16/2011

Hello everybody. I have had the worst week in a long time. It first started off I was in a car accident on Monday. I came out of it with a broken leg, 3 fractured ribs and a headache that will not stop. The accident happed because the other driver was texting and did not see me stopped at a stop light and hit me going at least 45 mph.Then on Thursday (right after I got out of the hospital) my childs pet cat that she adores came suddenly sick. We took it to the vet and he told us it was a mysterious illness and there was nothing they could do for it. My daughter is 3 and it is hard to get her to understand her kitty will not be sleeping with or playing with her anymore. We are still dealing with this issue. I do not know what to do. Soooo

I am finally here to do the countdown. I am sorry for the delay. I need the cruise even more now.

Ahhh I hope you feel better. I work in insurance and it makes me so made when people come in to talk about a claim and cannot put down their phone for long enough to even look me in the eye.


I need to lose 15 pounds and it is frustrating for me. I think I am going to attempt Weight Watchers. I am signed up to do a Mini Marathon in May but am only walking not running.

I do weight watchers - their new plan is much better than the old one so give it a go

Rather than having to "borrow" from the next days points if you "over spent", now you get a whole load of extra points that you can either split equally for each day or spend them on treats like choc or wine

I've lost 35lb on it and gone down 3 dress sizes. I recommend it

We hope you have a speedy recovery!!! Sorry to hear about your kitty I know your pain my brother has been in I.C.U for almost 3 weeks now from a snowmobile accident that broke everything from his neck to his waist including his back. He is still on a ventaltor because his lungs were puncture and collapsed. Thats just a small list of his injuries. So hope no coughing, sneezing or hard laughing for ya until those ribs heal

Well I had planned on putting a huge part of our taxes towards our cruise but life decided not lol! Our engine light went on. My DH tried to convince me it was all because of the snow. He takes it in to the mechanic. It starts out as $100 for doing the diagnostics. Then $60 for a faulty wire. Then he calls me back and says they were taking it off the rack and the break line broke! Kaching! So we have our Escape back $600 later. Thank God I wasn't driving it when the breaks went out.

I'm so sorry for all the issues you are going through right now, I can totally relate to the kitty missing! My 3 kids are still crying every couple of days missing Stripey.

Keep the postive attitude you are having though! You are exactly right when you say Thank God you weren't driving! I hate when stuff like that happens but I just try to pick out the good from it when I can.

I just found out that I got into an online program at my dream college, University of Florida, but it doesn't seem that we are going to be able to afford it and the government doesn't want to give me any pell grants. But then I thought to myself... "I'd rather be on the dream anyway!" No way am I wasting our anniversary money on one class at a college! So that's my dissapointing story for the week! Not half as bad as what I see others going through but it's nice to share!

Everyone hang in there! It will be October before we know it!

Thoughts and prayers your way. In 2009 my very first brand new car that I bought all on my own was t boned in a movie theatre parking lot by a lady who was speeding through the parking spaces, instead of going down the aisles and then my beloved precious kitty princess jasmine passed shortly after. Sometimes life just keeps punching us huh?! It's tough as heck but you'll get through it one day at a time.

We just transferred to this cruise today due to a change in our school schedule. I need to change my ticker! It will be our honeymoon cruise (but we are bringing the kids) Robert, who will become my stepson the day before we sail and is Aspergers, has never seen the ocean. We are so excited for him to have this opportunity.

It will be mine and my kids, Sean who will be 14 (almost 15) and Dani (8) our third cruise. It will be my DF Jonah and his son Robert's first.

We would love to join the fish extender.

We have two rooms. Jonah and I will be in room 6520
Sean, Robert, and Dani will be next door in 6518. Robert is and Aspie kid and is extremely sensitive to Red Dye.

It is very quiet around here. Anything exciting happen to anyone. It actually hit 60 degrees here. So excited about our cruise!!! I am trying to figure out what I am doing for fish extenders. I might resort to what I did on our last cruise.
