There is supposed to be a heatwave here of 40 degrees this weekend so I am looking forward to that. I am a girl scout leader so I am picking up 1400 boxes of cookies this weekend

I work in a after school program and ordered $11.00 in cookies from one girl. Then I realized I had to buy cookies from all my other girls. My oldest dropped out of Girl Scouts otherwise we would have a house full of cookies from her tool

Well we are experiencing a small heat wave here -- high of 41 expected today and by next week...

As for GS cookies, I, too, buy from all the precious little girls I teach (who are trying their darndest to derail my weight-loss plan). I did buy some for our soldiers in the ME but there are a few boxes gracing my freezer.

I will not complain about the weather and I will not eat Girl Scout cookies.

I do weight watchers - I'm at goal, but its difficult staying there and ideally I'd like to lose a few more lb before I cruise (to make up for all that scrummy food)

warmer weather here today too, 30's! One week closer to vacation! I have been loving all of the dream reports and pictures...there is so much to do on the ship, gotta fit it in 4 days, dont think we will be sleeping much. I know we will stay on the ship at nassau, maybe go to the rainforest room.

I'm trying to lose weight for right now. Five more pounds to go. Keeping it off for the cruise will be the hard part! Thankfully, I have several special events scattered through the year to help me stay focused.

Is anyone else trying to lose some weight for our cruise??

Yes! We aren't doind anything in paticular but we have made our meals healthier. I have lost 8 pounds and I want to lose 5 more!

The tax return came in and we paid our cruise off YAY! We also booked our room for the night before at the Raddison Resort at the Port. Now I just wish we could book our port adventures but since we are first time cruisers we have to wait unti August 2, so unfair!

Hello everybody. I have had the worst week in a long time. It first started off I was in a car accident on Monday. I came out of it with a broken leg, 3 fractured ribs and a headache that will not stop. The accident happed because the other driver was texting and did not see me stopped at a stop light and hit me going at least 45 mph.Then on Thursday (right after I got out of the hospital) my childs pet cat that she adores came suddenly sick. We took it to the vet and he told us it was a mysterious illness and there was nothing they could do for it. My daughter is 3 and it is hard to get her to understand her kitty will not be sleeping with or playing with her anymore. We are still dealing with this issue. I do not know what to do. Soooo

I am finally here to do the countdown. I am sorry for the delay. I need the cruise even more now.

Prayers for you and your family! I am even more convinced now that cell phones are evil! We have a texting law finally here in Wisconsin but it's really hard to inforce. It drives me crazy when I see people driving with cell phones period!
