Well they said 6" of snow was expected yesterday, we got 14" instead! So much for my shopping trip today (we are lucky we live within 20 minutes of the mall of america!) but, roads arent in great shape yet.....more snow expected today. I guess today is another trip planning day!

14":scared1::scared1::scared1: Holy cow!:scared1::scared1::scared1:

20 minutes from Mall of America! You lucky thing!:yay::dance3: That would be my idea of heaven!:cloud9:

We had such a beautiful weekend and now it is raining and borderline freezing. This cruise cannot come soon enough.

I am trying to figure out what I want to do for FE gifts. I think I might do what I did on my last cruise but get a head start on it. Since we are going back to our resort after the cruise I think we will be smart and leave our luggage there and not take it all on the cruise like we did last time.

We will also actually take our own booze this time. Our bar tabs the last 2 times have been out of control. I am a sucker for those fancy drinks.

I'm still unsure re FE gifts too - I really want to participate, but I'm worried just how much space it took up last time in the suitcases:scared1: I'm thinking thin and small stuff this time:rotfl:

We took wine and beer onboard last time in a rolling cooler.:thumbsup2 This time we'll do the same. It was lovely having a glass of wine whilst getting ready etc or late as a night cap... and waaay cheaper than the bars:eek:

We purchased some alcohol on Nassau last cruise. We had a limo take us to port before the cruise but the driver was saying he didn't know where the grocery stores were? Isn't that what the GPS is for lol? I have to make sure to research where the stores are by port for this next trip.

We stopped at a very large, nice liquor store near Downtown disney a few days before the cruise. It's called abc liquor and it is within 1 mile of downtown disney. It had a great selection, a good prices. We packed a carry on cooler full of beer and didnt even drink it all, despite our best efforts not to drink expensive cruise drinks, they got the best of us at times! And DH did the beer tasting, which was fun, and worth the $15.

On our first cruise we booked the Martini tasting but the girls wanted out of the club so I could not go. DH took my spot drinking both our Martinis after a day of drinking at the pool. Needless to say it all hit him at once and he passed out during the Golden Mickey show. Then he passed out in the cabin with all the keys. Our Room Steward thought it was hilarious, I on the other hand did not. Talk about a fight in the cabin the next morning. :rolleyes1 no more liquor tasting for him again.

MARRIED! Congrats - I must have missed this!:dance3: Wheres the wedding being held?[/QUOTE said:
Yes! We are getting married at Beach Wedding by Joanie on Coccoa Beach. We are so Excited!

Planning is going good. I am using last years dates as a guide for the MNSSHP. I think it's going to be on a Thursday before we leave on the cruise. We are coming in that Wednesday Oct 12th. Tickets should be going on sale in May:banana: We get to do our dining in April hopefully free dining for the fall will be coming out soon for the fall. I think they do that over summer though. (It's been 2 years and I can't remember) I also want to do the haunted carriage ride I think at Wilderness

For the free dining I think we need two park days in addition to the MNSSHP so we are planning to go to HS and AK. We haven't been to either one in a few years. I think since we brough my Mom with us. That was an adventure!
We like to try new places everytime we go to WDW. So far here's where we are going. I will probably have to nix a few. I am also taking my youngest to the BBB but have to decide what day and if downtown or while at MK.

Cape May
Sci-Fi
Wolf Gang Pucks Express
Brown Derby or Mama Melrose for Fantasmic package
Starring Rolls for Breakfast
Ohannas for Character Breakfast (one of our favorite ones)
Kona for Dinner
Sunshine Seasons for Dinner
Flame Tree (a must at AK)
Tusker House Breakfast
we have to fit a turkey leg in too at HS

Cape May is one of our absolute favorites :)! We will be there in two weeks for a mini trip to the Flower & Garden Festival at Epcot, so that's going to be dinner for sure. Enjoy!:cutie:

We aren't making this a very long trip because we are taking little mini ones during the year leading up to October. In two weeks we are going to Orlando for the weekend to the Epcot Flower & Garden Festival. To be honest we just want to eat at Cape May again LOL! In July we are going to see my grandparents in Alabama. I only get two weeks vacation time so we have to figure out how to use it wisely without going crazy at work!!

We are coming down on Saturday (the night before departure) and staying at the Radisson Resort at the Port. Our room is one of the spa room suites and we have the cruise package where they let us keep our car there and shuttle us to the cruise.

We took off Friday the 21st and Monday the 24th so those days we will probably just do some things around our home.

I am excited to see that we can bring our own drinks on the cruise! I didn't think we could so that's going to save us some money !! We are not huge drinkers, but hey this is a celebration for us! I insist on having a drink in Pink... I hope they have pink champagne! :rotfl:

The flower and garden festival at Epcot is really pretty. I am sure you will have a great time:)
PS maybe we should each bring a bottle of alcohol when we meet and have a swap? LOL!

We went on a RC cruise for our Honeymoon and there was a huge family reunion that was boozing it up. They just had their bottles up on Deck mixing with whatever. I am thinking I will bring some Malibu Rum and maybe some barcardi.

Cape May is our favorite disney dinner buffet! We have gone the last two trips and it has been great, and totally worth the cost, especially if you like crab legs. DH ate 13 bundles the first time we went! I don't eat crab so he got our moneys worth, I loved the rolls, cornbread and mac and cheese, oh and the oreo bon bons!

I am sad that MNSSHP wont be on Friday (historically i guess we really dont know the dates yet) the week before we sail. That is my favorite! but like I said I promised I would keep this trip short and sweet and coming down early to do the thursday party isnt in the cards for us. oh well, these are my thoughts on vacation planning for the day!

Haven't booked our hotel yet, we are either staying 1 or 2 nights. Disney rates are rack rates right now, no discounts yet, I will keep looking. Or maybe we will stay closer to Universal...

I heard no coolers unless it was baby food? :confused3I would love to sneak some malibu and some flavored rum with us. I wonder if they have pineapple juice on board?:thumbsup2 I know what you mean about the FE gifts their might be alot for 2 cruises, might have to use 1 suite case just for that which is alright with me.

Our cooler is a fairly big rolling cooler. They didnt ask what was in it at all. We just wheeled it on with our hand luggage strapped to the top of it. No-one said a word. we had numerous bottles and cans of beer. We managed to get through them though;):lmao:

I thought only soft sided coolers are allowed now? You are still allowed to carry in alcohol. I have to go look at the cruise faq section again. I have this really nice Harley cooler that we take to the ball games. It holds alot!

So much for my shopping trip today (we are lucky we live within 20 minutes of the mall of america!)

I'm going to the MoA this April! My church's HS choir is doing their choir tour in MN this year and we have some free time there. Looking forward to it!:yay:

I am trying to figure out what I want to do for FE gifts.

I have a plan but it's NOT Disney/Mickey OR homemade. I hope everyone is okay with that! :rolleyes1

I love the F&G Festival. How much do I wish I was at Epcot right now?? :flower3:

We used to love Cape May Cafe! :lovestrucFor some reason we stopped going. Now I'm thinking we may need to squeeze it in. Just how many buffets can a family eat at in 4 days??

Have a great Wednesday!

Kristen

What is Cape May?? Never heard of that before. I love Flower and Garden. I am not however a fan of the Food and Wine. The last time we went there were so many drunks we ended up leaving EPCOT because it was not family friendly at all. I am extremly liberal as well but there were people literally doing body shots.
