What did the dentist say?
Yeah, so what did the dentist say?
What did the dentist say?
Darn...I can't believe you got a respiratory thing. I hope those antibiotics work quickly.
And I'm with Brandon--DON'T cancel the dentist. Be sure and tell him exactly when it started hurting, how it hurts/feels, etc. You don't want this starting up again when you get to Disney.
Your two last day plans sound great!!! If you cancel Sci-Fi, what will you do with that TS? We really liked Sci-Fi (stick to the burgers and reuben and onion rings).
I also agree with Brandon - don't cancel the dentist! Just because it stopped hurting doesn't mean it won't start up again
I'm sure the respiratory thing will go away with the antibiotics. Just make sure you tell the dentist (if he wants to give you antibiotics) that you're already taking them and what for.
As for Sci-Fi, I really enjoyed it! I think Sharon did as well (she joined me at the last minute), but you'd have to ask her![]()
I think the day of MVMCP will be a great time to not have any plans and just relax and rest up so you can have tons of fun at the party! And, I think dinner at LC, Illuminations and EMH is a great way to spend your final night at Disney. I hope you feel better soon!

Plans sound great. Sorry to hear about the tooth and the illness.I hope you are 100% better by the time you get to WDW. Being sick at WDW is no fun!
Have a speedy recovery and good luck with the dentist!

What did the dentist say?
Yeah, so what did the dentist say?
sorry for the sicknessI had that before one trip as well!! You want to plan plan plan but you just don't feel up to it. FEEL BETTER, it's getting close!
So you know how I've been hoping for an earlier ADR at Teppan Edo on Tuesday 11/16 so I could see Illuminations that night? I've been trying to get one for days and finally this morning I found one for 7:00 instead of 8:00!Now I should definitely get to see Illuminations that night! Yay!!!
Great news on the tooth front -- well at least the pain. Sorry to hear you'll need a crown. You should ask your dentist if you can pay a little at a time (there is an organization called Care Credit. My son's bill for his "first" root canal (he'll need a second one) and his crown was $498 after insurance. They hooked me up with Care Credit and my payments are $27 a month for 18 months with NO interest (if I extended it past 18 months I would have to pay interest). I don't know if every dentist will let you use it, but it sure won't hurt to ask.
I'm glad your cough is getting better; the headache is probably the stress from everything. You'll be 100% by the trip.
Hooray for changing your ADR and now being able to see Illuminations.
haha, I cry at Illuminations (well, sometimes). The one song is very moving...We Go On. I love it!!!
Sounds like a great night! Teppan Edo is fun and yummy and that should leave you enough time to get out and snag a viewing spot for Illuminations without having to worry during your meal.

I had to have a ton of work done on my teeth a few years ago and this was before I had dental insurance I got Care Credit and it was great! I was able to pay it over time, so it didn't drain my bank account!
Okay, Dr. Joni is prescribing you: lots of fluids, lots of rest, lots of Vitamin C, and lots of DISboards. This will ensure a speedy recovery and a very happy Jen come Friday!
YAY for an earlier Teppan Edo ADR! That's awesome that it worked out!![]()
Wow, only 6 days and you will be in Disney!!!!! Sorry it has taken me so long since we got back to check in. Your plans sound like so much fun. Wanted to tell you how much we liked POR. The resort is so beautiful, peaceful, such a nice place to rest after a long day in the park. I enjoyed just walking around the resort. We were in Oak Manor and liked that area (not too far from the main building or the pool). They were doing some minor renovating while we were there (painting), but we didn't ever have any problems with it, and now I bet the building are all nice and spiffy.Let me know if you have any questions about POR and I will try to answer them.
Hope you are feeling back to normal soon. No fun to be sick. Glad your tooth is feeling better and there was nothing pressing to worry about.![]()
Our room was definitely not dirty or moldy. Only negative was really our mousekeeper. She never would put a liner in the ice bucket, which isn't the worst thing. We had gallon ziplocs, so I just used one to line it, but that was the only bad part.
We never saw any snakes, but I did hear something in the landscaping while we were walking by the pool. I did tell the kids to make sure to stay in the middle of the walkway. Later by our room, we saw a little rabbit, so it could have been another rabbit I heard in the landscaping. Not sure, but better safe than sorry if you ask me.
Didn't take the boat to DTD. Really wanted to, but the only time we went was before going to Universal.
I should be starting a tr soon. Still trying to catch up a bit more on everyone else's threads. I will let you know when I do. Glad you are feeling better! Oh, and now you can officially say you are going to WDW this week!!!!!
Jen, how are you feeling today?
I'm much better, thanks! The only thing really bothering me now is my stomach, which I know is a side effect of the antibiotics, so once I finish them up tomorrow I should be ok. I'm still coughing a little, but it's not as bad as it has been the past few days. I should be ready to go by Friday!
