On your first "full" day do you usually......

We always do our first full day in Epcot too! Kind of a "warm up" park for the kiddos. :) We do a quick in room breakfast most days, this trip we made our first PS for a character breakfast, we've done other meals, never breakfast. On day 2 we're hitting Breakfastosaurus at AK! Can't wait! :)

Arrival day, we have a quiet, relaxing lunch at the food court, check in to AS, drop off luggage (all of this takes about 1.5-2 hours, until 1 or 2 pm), then GO GO GO! I feel it necessary to see MK on arrival day, and again on our first full day. On the first full day, we eat bkfast at the food court, then catch the bus to whichever park (usually MK). Last year, probably because we went in Sept (low crowds, lots of hurricanes), we were able to eat lunch at the food court, go to MK for the parade & rides, leave for dinner at Baskervilles (MK was closing early for NOJ), then go to MGM for Fantasmic. That was one of my favorite days at WDW!

On our first full day, we have a quick (!) breakfast at the resort and then head to the MK. We *always* have lunch at Pecos Bill's on the first day! :)

Is it July 1st yet?

Our first day in April was arrive at the resort then off to AK....

Our first day in Dec was arrive at WL and then DTD...

This first day in Oct it will be driving down from Bouynten Beach to our resort, walk around then off to maybe Epcot to ride Space Ship Earth and then DTD and maybe back to Epcot to watch Illuminations, cause the next day is Chef Mickeys, MK, and MNSSHP.

Is it on a NON EMH morning? That is what we do, eat at CP (as close to 8am as we can get) on a non EMH morning, so we are in the park before it opens, then we can hit the rides right at 9am!! I love this plan!! :)

That was our plan for the first full day of our recent trip...that is, until WDW changed the park hours on us! LOL

We had a 8:15 PS for CRT for what was supposed to be a non-EMH morning for MK which would have meant that the park opened at 9:00 am. WDW later decided to move up the opening time for MK to 8:00 am. Fortunately, they also eventually decided to make every morning that week an EMH-morning for the MK such that MK opened at 7:00 am for WDW resort guests.

So, the revised plan was to tackle the rides in Fantasyland at park opening for an hour and then go to CRT for breakfast. It worked great.
