On to healthy living......

I never made it back to the gym since I was too busy repurchasing and returning.

Oh my goodness, wilderness:earseek:

I am saying prayers that you are feeling better. If you are not, please get to the hospital as soon as possible. ::yes:: Take good care of you.

Tracy

Wilderness,

I am glad to hear that you are feeling better. Now, mom/nurse arrives. The focus for asthma treatment has changed. It is maintainance and prevention. Your attacks are too frequent. You absolutely need to see a pulmonologist. Please. You need to get this taken care of. Also, if you can't breathe, get to an ER. Your kidws would rather get up in the middle of the night, than lose their mom.

Ok, Lecture over. I'm sorry, if I'm being a brat, but I am worried about you. You are under a great amount of stress, working, workingout, and not getting enough rest. Please take care o yourself.

Beth

I have to agree with Beth. You should see a pulmonologist. At least have one evaluate your asthma. This way you are ahead of the game before flu & cold season kicks into full swing. The new meds on the market are very good.

I take singular. It works better for me that Advair. You should feel an improvement within the first few days. talk to your Doctor.
Right now, you need to see your Doctor,(if you don't want to go to your Doctor, or can't get in, go to the ER). You need a shot to open you up, then maybe the steriod pills. It's funny with asthma, you never realize how bad you actual are. WHen you have little kids, you just can't chance it. You have to get well. So please, if you can't get in to your Doctor tonight, go to the ER for some quick treatments. Look at it this way, just a few hours in the ER, and you will feel much better. I hope you don't think I'm too pushy., I'm an asthmatic, who had servere asthma. I know how horrible it is. You may be relying too much on the Albuterol. That is dangerous.

Deneen

 Wilderness. I am sorry you aren't feeling well.
As a fellow asthmatic, I understand how crappy it feels to not be able to take that deep breath!

I take Advair. Are you sure your dosage is 1x daily? My Rx calls for 1 puff in the am and 1 puff in the evening. I took Singular but it didn't help me, so Zyrtec and Advair is my treatment plan. With Albuterol as needed.

It sounds like it is time to see a specialist. I found my visit to rather interesting and FAR more thorough than what my primary care doctor could do. My maintainance plan works great and my primary doctor can fill my Rx's for me now.

Take care of Y O U! You are far too important not to. ::yes::

I'm glad to hear you are feeling better. It's funny, sometimes a nice hot cup of coffee helps too. Keep taking the advair. It really does help. I was watching the news today in the Philly area, and they had someone on talking about dangerous drugs. The mention of an asthma drug sevarent prompted me to do some research on the internet. My medicine, singulair is on the "do not take list" posted by www.worstdrugs.org
Your Advair is not on the list. I may ask my Doctor to switch back. I wasn't able to research more without a fee, I'll try to find ways around it.
I'm glad to hear you are feeling much better.

I'm so sorry to hear that you have had a rough couple of days. It must be so scary not being able breathe. I hope you and the doctors can find a better way to control it.

Sounds like you have quite the busy weekend. Happy Birthday to your daughter :bday: . How was lunch duty?

Hey Winderness,

Just a quick note to let you know I am back from my extended eating vacation!!!

Stop by sometime!!

Later,

Dax

Hi Wilderness,

I'm glad that you are feeling better. You're still going to the doctor, right? So the party went well. I'm glad to hear you were able to enjoy it. Try to have a relaxing day tomorrow.
Beth

A trivia master! I hope your dh does try Millionaire while you are in WDW. It is a really fun experience and just think of what he could win! You could be CRUISIN! :boat:

I am glad you are feeling better. I know how hard it is to take your meds for asthma. I feel so good most of the time, that it is easy to forget to take a puff. My nighttime Advair is easy to remember. My morning puff? No one is perfect!

Have a great workout and a GREAT WEEK!!!!!!!

Hi wilderness,

I am sending a ton of :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: your way to help you accomplish all you need to get done before you leave for WDW. I hope you have some time in the next few days to relax before your trip. Take care and have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!
