On to healthy living......

Thanks Laurie.

I did go to the gym and did almost 7 miles on the glider. My lungs were burning at first but then felt ok. We'll see if I feel well enough tomorrow to go again. I miss my workouts and my clothes can tell the difference!

Only 2 more days!!!! :cool1:

I bet you are getting so excited!!! :flower1: I hope you have a wonderful day today!

Hi Wilderness,
Thankd for your support. I do appreciate it.
I am sorry that you are still ill. I hope the antibiotics and Florida sunshine will have you :cool1: soon. I hope your neice is able to fly. It would be horrible for her to miss a family vacation. I'm sending tons of :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: foir your family.

I am glad that your grandmother is home and feeling better. She may just be amazed at her energy level increase after the pacemaker.

I may not make it back to your journal before you go. (OK, so I'm hedging my bets here) I will pray that you have a safe journey and an incredible trip. I hope you make a ton of happy memories. Say hi to the Mouse for me.
Beth

Hi Wilderness,
I am glad you were able to get some antibiotics. I hope they start working quickly so you feel better. Which Advair did you get moved too? I have the 250/50.

About your niece, isn't she also taking a decongestant to help with the fluid build up in her ear? My ds ended up needing tubes when he was 10 months old, but they always put him on an antibiotic and a decongestant to help reduce that pressure. I am not suggesting that it is wise to travel when there is risk of a rupture, but without the fluid, there is little risk, right? Also - just a suggestion, since my ds had to fly quite a bit - EarPlanes are a great tool for children! Especially those with ear issues. It relieves the pressure on the inner ear. Makes flying pain free for those with ear issues. These were recommended by his pediatrician and can be found at Walgreens, CVS, Target, Walmart, etc.... Just in case she does clear up in time.

Hi Wilderness,
You can now do the single, single, single digit dance. If you do not feel up to dancing, I will dance for you... :jumping1: :jumping1:
Hope the meds do the trick for you and clear up the junk. I despise sinus infections. The Florida sun will help too... :sunny:
The pacemaker will be a good thing. With the improved cardiac output, she will have more energy and be able to tolerate her meds better if her heart rate doesn't slow too much. I always tease my pacer patients by telling them that now they will live forever!
Have a great trip, Wilderness! Looking foward to hearing all about it when you guys get back!

 Wilderness,

I was just popping by to wish you a great trip. Now I am at a loss.

I am so sorry that Napolean will be back at the school. It is just wrong. You have done everything possible to protect your kids, and the kids of parents who can't be bothered. I hope things go well with the phone conversation on Thursday. I will be praying for you.

I think you have made the right decision to not let this ruin your vacation. I know you will still be tinking about it, but physically removing yourself from the situation and surrounding yourself with family may help you deal with this.

I hope you managed to get some rest last night. Try to have a wonderful trip. I'll be thinking about you.
Beth

Oh wilderness,

I am so very, very sorry. I hope that the phone call on Thursday proves to be a step in the right direction. We will be praying for you.

I hope that you have a safe and wonderful trip to WDW!

Take good care of you,

Tracy

wilderness,

I'm sure that rush of excitement will come along very soon for you! I'm sending some extra :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: to help with anything that needs to get done today and to help increase your excitement about going to WDW. I completely understand why you are not as excited as you want to be now. With all you have been dealing with, I would feel that way too. Try to remember that you are going to WDW where all of your troubles disappear (even if temporarily) and where it will be just you and the ones you love. :grouphug:

As for our schedule, here it goes:

Saturday, Dec. 4: Arrive; Meet DH's cousin at Old Town
Sunday, December 5: Rest Day
Monday: Typhoon Lagoon
Tuesday: Epcot
Wednesday: Magic Kingdom
Thursday: Free Day, Downtown Disney, Meet DH's aunt and uncle for dinner
Friday: Park Hop: Start at MGM, drive to Epcot, leave car there, get on monorail to Magic Kingdom, stay there for a few hours, head to Epcot for Illuminations, head to condo.

As for the rest of our vacation Saturday, December 11- Wednesday December 15th, I'm not sure what we are doing yet because it will just be DH, Em, Caley, and I. I don't have anything lime green, but I may head out to Home Depot and make a few names tags out of those Mickey paint sample things. I am definitely going to be looking for DISers! :magnify:

Have a great vacation! :cheer2:

Tracy

Rats! I missed saying goodbye!
Wilderness I am so sorry to read about the bull happening with Napolean. It is just so sad that things like this are allowed to happen. :(
I do hope you are able to enjoy your trip to WDW!! Sending :wizard: for warm and sunny skies while you are in FL, resting, relaxing and recharging!!
Have a great time! ::yes::

WELCOME BACK, WILDERNESS!!!

I am so happy to hear that your visit to see ::MickeyMo was a good one. I am surprised to hear there were crowds. I figured the parks would be dead right now. You are right though - I bet a lot of people had to reschedule.

I hope the school situation starts to take a turn with the actions you have taken, so you can get a resolution. Good luck Wilderness! I am rooting for you!! :cheer2:

 Hi Wilderness,
Welcome home. I'm so glad to hear you had a wonderful trip and were able to escape the stresses of the real world for awhile. I'm going to say a prayer tonight that you are able to find a safe and healthy school enviroment very soon. This is just eating you up inside and that just isn't healthy for anyone. Take care.
