Good Morning,

Has any one out there ever pursued an on line degree??? I was thinking about enrolling in one for Hotel Management or Travel/Tourism but do not know which one to try or if they are even worth while. At the moment I teach Kindergarten and need to keep my job to pay the bills ( and for Disney Trips), but do want to change career paths and an on line school seems to be a good answer.

If anyone out there has any experience with one I would love to hear about it!!!

Thanks,

Heidi

Check the colleges and universities in your state, many of them have online programs. The most important thing is to make sure that the place you go through is accredited by an organization that is 100% legit. :thumbsup2

I am finishing a degree in IT Project Management at Capella University, a fully accredited college. They don't offer a Travel or Hospitality degree, but I agree with dmslush - check out one of your state colleges. 1. It is usually cheaper and 2. You may be able to finish anything you can't do online traditionally.

Good luck! It is difficult to go back to school - but well worth it :-)

What they said. Accreditation is very important. The Distance Education Training Council is an accreditation agency for distance learning schools.
