Hi,
I'm a member at DVC, but my wife just asked me a question that I can't answer.

Can DVC ever take away our right to move to another NON-owned resort at our 7 month window?..... Did I confuse things....

I own at Wilderness Lodge (my home resort), so can they according to my contract, ever stop me from moving to another resort ( DVC resort) at my 7 month window?

Thanks....and GO MICHIGAN STATE BASKETBALL, SWEET 16!!!!!
We will be down at Disney starting March 25th,,,,,,can't wait....Michigan weather is terrible!!!

Yes, the 11 month priority is the only guarantee. The non-home reservation time may be changed - either up or down - or eliminated entirely. The only guarantee is the ability to reserve at our home resort.

It can be as little as 1 month or could be changed to less than the current 7 months. Until 1995, the reservation priorities were listed as 11/10. (This was when there was only one resort and had no practical meaning). Once VB opened in 1995, the priority was changed to the current 11/7 and no changes have been made since.

While DVC can change the reservation window without consulting the members, it's likely to do so only to improve inequities in the reservation system. I don't foresee any change in the present deadlines, but if reservation habits of members change and the system gets our of balance, DVC could easily make the change.
