OMGOODNESS!! my Sw flight just DROPPED ..

Someone told me that SW offered this 26.89 flight BUF-Mco to promote their new second NS flight that was just added. I jumped on it for MLK weekend. My DS has his birthday then and now gets to celebrate at Disney! Thanks Southwest. It is now $59 and in the past that was a great price! I am still shaking my head and can't believe this fare...so happy!! :cool1:

The lowest I had ever heard of a flight on these boards was $39.. I NEVER would have dreamed it would cost $27.. I am going to keep quiet on my plane how much I paid cause I think the other people up there who paid $99 or more will kill me ;) LOL

I wish i would have checked in here earlier. We currently have $180 in credit towards tickets that have to be used before march 25th. We are travel out of Buffalo, If i would have seen this earlier I would have jumped on it and we would be going next month. Bummer!! Congrats to all who got the rate.

Looking for help with low SWA fares. Best I can do from Louisville (SDF) to MCO is around $120 round trip. Would love those $29-69 fares. Any tips?

god i wish southwest flew out of Pittsburgh...at least the hostage state US Air held us under is begining to life a little.

I cheapest I could find it from Chicago for my May 27-June 6 trip $175.20 which is still a great price. but since I have a voucher for Spirit Airlines I will go through them for the same price.

Can someone explain to me how it works if your rate drops. I bought Internet fares for our May trip. If the rate drops and I book it can I get my money back?

Kayla

If you keep checking your fares and they do drop you can either change your rate over the internet or do what I did and call customer service and tell them you would like your rate changed. They will at first give you a credit to SWA and when you return from your trip you just call them back and they will then credit your CC. Now I have been told on these boards that if you really want to be credited right away on your CC you have to call SWA directly (not there 1-800 number).

Personally, I am holding onto the SWA credit in hopes of another trip south in March after our cruise in Jan. DH will be way more keen when the flight has already been paid for!

My rate dropped from $175 to $127 for my flight from Newark to MCO. I called Delta (SONG) today and they charge a "Change" fee of $25 even though nothing changed as far as my reservations go. Then, because I had a non-refundable ticket, they would only give me a voucher for credit of $23 for a future flight to be used within one year. Does this sound right? :earseek:

I booked right away at a higher price and that about 6 weeks before my dates it dropped. So I rebooked at the lower fare with SW and got the money back. :cool1:
