Yes and no. In my family, second cousins are referred to as neices and nephews. That said, I have 2 neices I am very close to and travel with and see all the time. They are my cousins daughters.

I also have two nephews and another neice (children of cousins) whom I hardly ever see.

This is the first child of a sibling for me!

As the aunt of 12 (all my siblings' children). The oldest are 13 (twin boys) and the youngest is 6 months old. I love 'em all....even when they drive me crazy. And remember, you get to spend time with them, and then you get to send them home!
