Target in Taunton, MA had them today.... all 4 of the main color pets and the funhouse.... it was surreal to see them actually hanging on hooks in the store! LOL! Of course, they got wiped out, then they'd restock them and 10 min. later, wiped out again.... 2 pets or 2 access. per person. They were watching people @ the cash registers and if they came back in to buy more, they took them away from them I already had some for my DD, but picked up 2 for another friend that was on the hunt still..... The man stocking the shelves said they're expecting more in most days of the week....

Great, here we go again... Another holiday season and yet again the toy manufactures have done it again to our kids, the T.V. stations play these commercials every 10 minutes for these damn Zhu Zhu Pet hamsters, running thru their tubes, my 4 year old GS walks around continously asking for a Zhu Zhu pet and WE CAN'T GET IT! Stores all sold out, on line they are going for 3-4x's their regular price on Amazon. Damn these toy manufactures, if they are going to so heavily advertise these stupid toys why can't they make enough of them to be able to get one. It's so frustrating, and it's not even holiday time yet! I just wish we could all just boycot the toy company that does this just to leave them with a ton of unsold toys as punishment.

There, I'm done venting.. now I'll continue searching for the dumb hamster.

Can't believe I started this thread right after my GS B-day in August, and sure enough it was the hot toy for Christmas- Seriously WISH we could all BOYCOTT these manufactures but we all know, most would do / spend/ go anywhere to make a child's wish come true especially Christmas.

Thanks so much, I ordered a pink one and a black/white one. DD will be thrilled! I now have an extra brown, an extra white, and an extra grey one I found at TRU that I have to return unless anyone's interested.
