So I have a hamster and our Target and TRU don't have the ball. So I was thinking of going to a pet store and getting a real one, would that worK or is there something in the ball that make it run in there??

I walked into the craziness this morning of TRU. I thought they opened at 9am so I arrived around 845a. They opened at 7am. I thought I would be out of luck! Yesterday was not a good day for me but today made of for it. TRU has ALL kinds of zhus zhus in a huge bin. It was only half full and the worker stated it was overflowing at 7. I also found tucked in with some doll stuff, the spiral ramp, funhouse, skateboard and car with garage. I already had a funhouse and my son really wanted the car. so today is a great day!
And I only waited 5 minutes in line and that was because a lady was challenging a price!

Thanks so much, I ordered a pink one and a black/white one. DD will be thrilled! I now have an extra brown, an extra white, and an extra grey one I found at TRU that I have to return unless anyone's interested.

I'm sorry they sold out before you could get one! Unfortunately, once the word gets out, these things sprout wings and fly away as we all probably know too well. Keep looking and maybe they'll come back in stock again soon. You can also sign up for e-mails from mygofer and they will let you know when the item comes in stock again.

I am headed to the TRU tomorrow, but only because I still do not have the slide. I am also hoping to score a couple of balls for a relative. If I can get the black and white or orange zhu zhu I will, but I am not fighting for them.

Well guys ... I did the unthinkable. I returned my DD's Zhu Zhu pets last night. I had the starter set plus the ramp which cost a total of $50. My DD is 10 and I knew that the Zhu Zhus were going to be played with and enjoyed for a while and the destroyed in short order. Much like the Poly Pockets airplane (now missing both wings) or the Poly Pockets cruise ship (which looks like a rusting hulk on an Indian shore).

I started to feel bad about spending $50 on a toy that she was probably too old for that would soon be a pile of plastic junk. So, I struck a deal with my DD. I returned the Zhu Zhu pets and she chipped in a $50 check she received from her aunt in addition to her entire allowance that she had been saving and I bought a Wii from Target last night. The Wii will keep her attention longer and I get to buy a Wii Fit Plus for myself .

Enjoy your Zhu Zhu hunt! They are very cute toys but it turned out they were not right for us .

I am wondering if people out there who paid $69.99 might be able to return and get $20 back?
