This is a serious crime, and a bad place for it to happen, so I am really not trying to make light of this, just to make that clear. But this COULD be a scam. The more I hear about this, the more I hear lawsuit. She was not raped, assaulted, not raped. She was drug into an area where there was no people.....sure there are those areas, but in a busy theme park, on a busy day, on a busy ride? Not very likely. Also, there was no suspect. There was no investigation mentioned in the article by the park. There are cameras all over the express line, around every nook and cranny...yet no one saw this woman being drug into an empty hallway. It all just seems too random for me. Usually a rapist will choose his victim a little more carefully, and wait for a more opportune time than the circumstances given, from what I've read. The
disney cruise line thing...that was more the speed of a rapist, threaten possibly hit, and get to a place where there would be no chance of interruption.
Again, I'm not saying this woman is not telling the truth, I hope she's not...simply because its a terrible thing that no one should be in fear of, let alone at a theme park...the one place where we go to escape reality. But you have to look at everything.....Disney had an occurance on NYD....this story allegedly happened one day before their story broke. What would take the focus off of a disney rape case? A rape case at the park of your rival. Not to say that disney would do that....if this lady is in fact lying, she could be looking to make a buck off of Universal. Again, I'm not trying to take anything away from this lady and make her look bad...things just dont add up for me, and I really really hope this isnt true. If it is true, I hope they get the perp really quick. That means that he's out and about in Orlando. Not only is Universal at risk...but so are the other parks....including disney.
