My best friend got 100% natural triplets. Two of the tree are fraternal twins. And they were suffering of a minor case of twin transfusion.
But all three were fine.

I think you mean that 2 were identical (fraternal twins can't have twin transfusion). My friend implanted 4, and planned on reducing to 2 if all took, leaving things alone if 3, and there were 3. Be prepared for bedrest if they all hang on, and take any help you can get! I had a 20 month old when my twins were born, and let me tell you, pushing a triple stroller up hills is NOT fun! Congrats!

Hmm..just a suggestion, if you don't have an extra fridge/freezer in the garage/basement and you have room for one get one!! Multiples usually deliver early so be prepared. I would start stockpiling meals that can be frozen for long periods of time so you can pop them out of the freezer for easy cooking!

Stockpiling diaper coupons and diapers.

Get all the rest and alone time now..cause you won't get any afterwards!! Take any help friends and family offer you.

Congratulations! I am sending good thoughts that all goes well!

I have triplet nephews and a niece. They are 12 now and amazing, bright and unique individuals. The littlest "held up" the other two in utero and they were always concerned about him. But he did great - spent just couple extra days in the hosp at birth.

I am the mom of twins and highly suggest you look around for a twins/ multiples mothers club in your area, and join before you have them so you get to know the other moms and ladies. you can go online to the national mothers of twins club website and search by state and area for a club near you.

Start buying those diapers, and start stockpiling meals for after the kids are born.
Also a good idea is to buy gift cards for the local grocery store and restaurant places, this is so you can give a gift card to someone and they can do your grocery shopping for you once in a while or someone can stop and pick up food from a place you ordered with the gift card.

Congratulations from a fellow multiples mom! My DH and I always saw Good Luck it never gets easier, just different challenges! Enjoy them!

I conceived triplets the same way and I will never forget the ultra sound that showed exactly how pregnant we were. I "knew" there were more then 1 because the blood tests showed my levels sky rocketing every few days, plus I couldn't button my jeans by 4 weeks. Dh and ds16 (4 then) were with me. The tech found the first baby right away, got her measurements, said she was sure that was it but she had to check to be sure. She moved all of 2 inches and said "oh boy, I've got to do more measurements". Dh started turning various colors and looking for a chair. The tech finished the second set of measurements, repeated the "I'm sure there aren't any more but I've got to look" speech, moved the wand about 6 inches and said "oh my God, I've got another one". Dh turned bone white and had a death grip on the edge of the table and I told the tech NOT to look any more lol.
