OMG... this is so not right (The Office related)!!!

So who else was cheering loudly for Dwight tonight????
:worship: :worship: :worship:

I'm on the west coast. I have over an hour before the show comes on.

I'm used to being on the east coast, and I find the time change difficult to get used to.:headache: I'll check back after the show airs.:)

I was!! I was cracking up when David was saying that they loved the idea and that instead of getting fired they were praising Dwight. Michael about died, but he deserved every bit of hit. I was soooo dissapointed in Michael, selling Dwight down the river like that. :sad2:

And what was with Andy and Jim's advise? I told my DH that Kevin needed to listen to Pam because really, the guys had NO idea what they were talking about!! Andy's was priceless though. "You can never let a girl feel to good about herself and any compliment that you give her must be backhanded." Gee, any wonder that he is single? :lmao:

Kelly and Toby were totally missing last night. Did anyone see them? I don't even recall seeing them in the meeting. Did I just miss them?

Last night was hysterical. My husband and I were laughing so loud at the look on Michael's face while Dwight was being praised. And why would he be surprised that Dwight took such a strong stance? Doesn't he remember when Dwight tried a hostile takeover? :lmao:

Then Pam asked, "Do guys really do that?" Then Jim says, "Not guys with girlfriends!" :rotfl2:
Poor Kevin. Nice...b**bs.

Hope I didn't kill the thread.

Here is a bump for tonight's show. :happytv:

Andy on his Epcot honeymoon!

"For my final honeymoon destination, I enjoyed the magic of Walt Disney's Epcot Center. Touring through all the eleven countries featured at the World Showcase, I encountered a diverse spectrum of people from all across the Orlando area. Got a churro and coke in Franceland - totally hit the spot. Stayed at Disney's All Star Music Resort, a great hotel, although I did find a mouse in the lobby: Mickey Mouse! And to top it of I jammed out with the quartet at Harmony's Barbershop - got my "A Whole New World" on. So far, this was the best solo honeymoon of my life!"

Would have loved for them to have actually gone and shot some real scenes of him there, esp. singing w/ the Barbershop quartet.

Last night was one of the best all season.

The segment before the opening credits is often the highlight of the night. Loved the knock-knock jokes!

Only problem is that NBC is one with Universal. Now, Andy on One Fish, Two Fish could have been just as funny... especially if he was wearing a Thing 2 t-shirt.

Andy must have gone a few years ago, since hasn't the wand been gone for sometime??

What the heck happened last night? :headache: Jim was humiliated in front of the new boss and everything he did to make it right, just made him look more and more like and idiot.

Did Michael say "I quit"? I swear it sound like he said "I a quit". Which made me think that he was trying to sound smart and lawyerly but said it wrong and David thinks he really quit.

Michael CAN NOT QUIT!!!

Wow, cool, hip Jim came off worse than Dwight last night. "Ok goodbye" "Bye" "Goodbye now" "See you" "Goodbye"

Angela - "He doesn't need to go dumpster diving for a date".
Then she's out in the rain with his scarf looking for him while Kelly runs out to find him. Hilarious.

Poor Michael & his 15th anniversary party. David's going to move funds around so he can have his party & his figs. Why isn't Phyllis on the PPC anymore?

When they had the "meet & greet" in the conference room with the "C" shaped bagels for Michael's new manager, what did Kelly say about the manager & Angela said "Nobody wants to see that"?

I had to rewind that part too. I think Kelly said, "I'm going to seduce him" or something to that effect.
I was so surprised that the new boss didn't like Jim. Everyone likes Jim! And dang, doesn't he look snazzy in his tux?

"I thrive under a lack of accountability." I think that should be my new motto!

My son and I recently got into The Office. We love it. Especially my son. Spent the last two weeks watching seasons 1-4. Haven't seen much of season 5. I did watch last night and didn't think it was one of the funnier episodes. I thought it was more "dark" then most.

Yep, Michael did say "I quit" at the end.

At the end, Michael definitely said "I quit" and then something like "You have no idea how high I can fly." Wow. That was pretty profound.

I wonder if he's going to go after Holly while he isn't employed by Dunder-Mifflin? I hope so!:lovestruc

I haven't really been faithful to season 5 much. I absolutely loved (and have watched over and over) seasons 1-4 though. It's just too hard to get into Season 5. I don't know what it is.

I think this season is missing the link (arc) from one episode to the next. It wasn't like a "to be continued' thing but prior seasons had the Pam/Jim growth from week to week; the triangle with Angela, Dwight, and what's his name, the Kelly/Ryan on again off again and this season there really hasn't been much to tie the episodes together.

But then again - I have missed a couple episodes here and there so maybe its me.
