OMG... this is so not right (The Office related)!!!

Where are my Office peeps this morning???

(that sounded Michael-like didn't it?)

I was housesitting for my parents till today and had class last night, so I didn't get to see the episode till a few hours ago (and I wanted to kiss my DVR when I got home! I never realized how much I'd miss it, being away from it for a week! I have so much TV goodness just sitting here waiting for me now... )

"The eyes are the groin of the head." :rotfl: I was dying with Dwight and his obsession with doing something to the security guard's eyes! And I agree, while Stanley's changing his mind seemed a little un-Stanley-like, I still loved it. I think it goes back to that "heart" element that makes this show so wonderful.

I just realized how few characters were actually involved in this episode...unless I'm not remembering correctly (entirely possible after the week I've had), there was no Angela, Kelly, Darryl, Jan, Ryan, Creed (and there can never be too much Creed!), Meredith... Not that I'm complaining or anything; the show probably would've been too busy with all of them. I just happened to notice it, is all. :) Oh, and you can definitely tell Phyllis has put in some time in St. Louis with the way she pronounced "popcorn" as "popcarn." Hee hee.

This week's episode was a riot! I LOVED it!

The "exclusive" book/finer things club! I thought the funniest scene of the show was Andy's reaction when he heard Pam offering to let Jim into the club.:lmao: And Michael's reaction when he saw Toby all decked out in his bowtie. "There really aren't any words to describe..." Usually I don't like it when Michael is so harsh to Toby, but Michael was SO flustered and disgusted, he was at a loss for words.:rotfl:

Jim trying to explain to Karen why he was in Uttica. It just kept getting funnier and funnier.:rotfl: I plan on watching the episode again later today. I always miss something the first time around.

BTW- I've received my order of Dunder Mifflin Rabies Awareness t-shirts, and my rabid bracelets have been shipped. The t-shirts are awesome!:rotfl: :rotfl2:

I got to watch this again last night. How funny was it that when Jim was invited to join the finer things club, he didn't read the book!

On another note, we rented License to Wed this weekend and Kelly, Kevin and Angela are all characters in this movie in which "Jim" stars. I thought LtW was worth a watch if you haven't seen it yet.

For the few of you who probably don't already know, there is a 16 month Office calendar out now. It's an "inspirational" type, "Integrity", "Dedication", etc., with a little saying & a photo of one or more of the Dunder-Mifflin employees each month.

And where would one find this calendar?

FYE music store had it. I'm assuming those calendar places that spring up around this time in the malls will probably have it also. They usually carry quite a variety.

I can't believe Michael, he just keeps digging it deeper & deeper.

Why was Toby trying to be nice to him? That was funny when he asked to make it 11 copies of Michael's diary.

"Who's this Ryan, another girl you're going out with?":lmao:

It took me a few minutes to get that it was Ryan :rotfl2: . I also lost it when Michael pushed Toby's tray off the table :rotfl: .

I have a confession... I'm so hormonal and emotional lately and when they were going over the corporate guy's deposition about not really considering Michael for the job, I started crying :lmao: . I felt so bad for him  .

That was the last new episode because of the strike, right?

That's what it said in this morning's Scranton Times. :sad1:

I loved that after Michael and Jan had both betrayed one another, each told the other that they loved them.

oh bummer!:sad1:

I swear I read in EW that there were three episodes - I was so counting on that!!!!

The deposition was so funny, Michael kept saying "That's what she said". "I didn't really have to go to the bathroom 5 minutes ago, that was just to get out of answering a question". I love the way he tries to evade looking at anyone or the camera when he's embarrassed, like in the lunchroom when he's looking for a place to sit.

I felt a little sad for him too when they were reading what the other boss wrote. Yet he didn't hold it against him, he remembered that the boss said that he was a nice guy. I guess he has to hold onto that.

I love how Michael can't resist saying "that's what she said" - even when he's supposed to be serious. :lmao:

I've felt bad for him this season. He's such a little shell of a man and he let himself get run over by Jan all season. Even though Dunder Mifflin probably doesn't really care about him as a person, I do like how he stuck up for them in the end. And all because you expect your company to do that to you but you don't expect your girlfriend. Sad, yet funny at the same time.

Now Pam getting all worked up to beat Kelly at ping pong....that was hilarious! And then they both stink at the game! :rotfl:

You expect your company to screw you, you don't expect your girlfriend to. :lmao:

Poor Michael. He has a heart of gold, but people are just so mean to him. :sad1:

Just saw a commercial tonite that said I new episode of "The Office" will be on this week. I think there are three that have not been shown yet. Hope that get a Christmas one is - I love those!:santa:

Just had to share a funny...

DH and I were putting our tree up the other night and as he was putting water in the tree stand I said "make sure you do it slow so it doesn't get all over the place". He responded "That's what she said" :rotfl2:

Tell him that he's one of us!!! :thumbsup2

Did I ever mention that this was me and my best friend's favorite game back in college...in 1988??? Only we used to say "that's what my date said last night." And I tell you...I can actually relate to Michael. It was really really difficult not to say it once it came to you. You'd be in a real formal situation and there would be a perfect opportunity for a "that's what my date said" comment and it was physically strenuous not to let it out!
