Holy cow, the first rain we've had in weeks. I suspect we may get all of maybe 10 minutes of it but I'll take it.

Oooo, thunder too! Way cool.

I think I can hear the ground going slurp.

*Update* We're still missing most of the action. :( Nevertheless, the sky is pretty dark and the birds are very active. About an hour ago I looked out my back window and saw a Bald Eagle flying about 100 feet up!

Now the Ospreys are in flight.

And, with one very small open area, the sun poked through to make a statement.

Many times these thunderstorms don't move much and this is one of those times. It's stuck over a place called Haines City and just keeps reforming. I can still hear the thunder in the distance.

Eh, maybe next time.

We had rain today too. It's been at least four weeks here with no tears from heaven. My lawn says thank you.

its been raining for days. we got out of school for it today. I love the rain. :goodvibes

The rain came and went here. My calla lillies sprouted two new flowers thanks to the rain.

We've been needing it here in Delaware too. Hopefully it will come and wash away some of this pollen so that I can breathe again!!

Please send some to me. Our ponds are driving up.... :sad2: I think we are at day 45 without rain.

Yeah - we've had all the rain out here in California. Enough already! It's raining again today. Our hills are a beautiful green, & they'll stay green a little longer than usual (we get very little summer rain.)

Hi "Neighbor!"

Lucky!!!

It didn't rain in this part of Auburndale! It thundered and the sky looked like your pictures, but not a drop....

I can't believe how many bald eagles I see here in Auburndale. There was one gliding over the house a couple of weeks ago when I was getting home from work.

I see them a lot on Gapway Rd, between lakes Arietta and Juliana.

I love this town, rain or no rain! :sunny:

P.S. I know what you mean about storms getting stuck over Haines City.

Thank goodness we finally got rain and as an added bonus some hail. :teeth: We have only had 2 inches of rain for the year when we normally have 5 times that amount.

We finally got a good rain. The WDW area got heavy downpours with lots of lightening! We got lightening, but not too bad. I'd love it if it would just rain all night!

We're just getting some well needed rain right now in Delray Beach!!! :cheer2: :Pinkbounc :thumbsup2

My plants and lawn are very thankful!!!!!!!!! :teeth:

We need the rain soooo bad. The weather station on base today said we had an inch of rain since November. My neighbor told me we should be watering around our foundation? I have never heard of that but you can believe I was watering it today!
At church on Sunday, they prayed for rain!

Phoenix recently had a record 143 days without any measurable precip! It has been so dry & horrible. We expect a really bad wildfire season this year!

We got about 15 minutes of downpour, 45 minutes of good steady drenching rain, and half an hour of sprinkles. The thunder and lightning set my neighbors alarm off--fortunately the people next door to them have a key and the code so they turned it off.

My allergies feel SO much better this morning, it seems that a lot of the pollen has been washed away! :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:
