OMG!!! I'm Glad I Called....

Where on the disney website can you check your current ADR's? thanks for your help!

Please don't go by the new system! I checked my August ADRs yesterday online and they did not show up. I called and gave the CM the first one (which I was cancelling) and she pulled it right up. I asked what the phone number was that it was tied to and she said there was no phone number tied to the reservation, so my ADRs were indeed there, but will not come up without a phone number. So don't panic if you don't pull them up. However, I was checking my July ADRs and they came right up with my home phone number.

Honstly if it were me I go with the orignal plan show up at the times I had and show them the conformation numbers. Its not your fault they can't find them but u have the numbers to back u up. No way would I take 8-9 ress espically with lil kids. Just my opinion and just what I would do.:thumbsup2

I checked on-line yesterday to see if my Aug. reservations would come up to check and make sure they were all set. It said there were not reservations for my confirmation/phone number. I called WDW-Dine to check it out. I gave them my reservation number and she had trouble finding it. I gave her one of my dining confirmation numbers and she found it. The proble was for some reason the address and phone number were not mine!!! We live in CT and they had us in NY. I will be calling back today to make sure that the changes she put in yesterday were actually made. She did confirm all my reservations but I will check again since nothing is still showing up on the on-line site.

THIS IS AWFUL!

Did someone say you can check your reservations online??????

go under "my disney vacation" on the top right- go down to reservations: dining reservations. You can click to check multiple reservations and put in ALL of your reservations (by ADR # with the phone number you used for the reservation), and when they are located you now have a list of each and every ADR - you can enter your email to have the list sent to you.

I made my ADRs yesterday by phone. Today I went on line and they were all there! I sent them to myself via e-mail and printed it. I will bring the e-mail with us on our trip.

Thanks I learn some thing each day reading the disney boards, I never knew I could look up dinner reservations on line and print them up. Wow that is way too cool. LOL.

thats a great idea!!:thumbsup2

I would def call back to another CM- how could they lose them all when you have confirmation #'s?

Also- it is easy to check them on line as well provided they are in the "new" adr system- go under "my disney vacation" on the top right- go down to reservations: dining reservations. You can click to check multiple reservations and put in ALL of your reservations, and when they are located you now have a list of each and every ADR - you can enter your email to have the list sent to you.

Thanks for the info. My reservations were in the system so I had the list emailed to me. That way I have the reservation numbers on a paper from Disney. :yay:

I created a word document that has all of the parks per day with hours and my reservations. Next to every reservation and time, I put the confirmation number. That way, every time I make a reservation, I just pull up the document, type in the confirmation number, and save it. It's worked swimmingly for me, personally.

As some have said, I would call back and talk to a different person. I had made several ADRs and then called back to add some more. The CM couldn't find them. I gave her my phone (both land and cell) and address. She found them and said some were listed under my phone and some were listed under my address. Go figure. It was when disney converted to a new system and it kept going down. I will be calling again, as I can't seem to retrieve those reservations online (with either phone number). Good luck. (to all of us) :surfweb:

First off I wouldn't have made the second set because you now can possibly have double reservations for the same meal periods.

I would also not have checked - this happens way to often -- and people end up not going thinking they don't have reservations when in reality its a glitch or the number shows up later. The confirmation numbers get lost in the computer due to misstypes of phone numbers, last names, don't sort properly, etc. but show up at the restaurant correctly.

I never ever check and have always been seated...a couple of times I have been told I don't have a reservation and after further checking they have told me it was cancelled on such and such a date and I tell them not by me...I have always been seated.

This includes 1900 Park Fare (3x!), Cape May and Cinderella's Castle for breakfast - where out front they told me I didn't have an ADR but still let me through when I showed them my confirmation number but at the podium they had the record of my reservation.

have a DD and DS and they will be most disappointed

There are 2 children involved and most of my NEW ressies I had to make were for times after 8pm, mostly at 9pm. After a day at the parks, swimming, they or we will be kinda tired don't you think.

My children are all grown up

do you think it warrants something in return from Disney.

1) I am also confused.
2) Are the others small children or grown children?
3) The posts lead to different interpretation.
4) If grown, one would think an 8:00-9:00 ADR wouldn't be a killer.
5) Therefore, changes shouldn't be a big issue.
6) So, what do you want from Disney?

If you're going to show up at your original time, cancel the new ADRs you just made. Not fair to hold up 2 ressies.

Well if that's the case, I would seriously just show up with my original confirm numbers at the original times -- think of it this way -- what if you had not called to check, what would you have done? Probably you'd have shown up at the times you had written down, with your confirm numbers, right? And you'd probably insist that yes, you DO have reservations, because here's the confirmation numbers...

So why not do that anyway? If you're polite, but insistent that you do have reservations & their system must be glitching, my guess is they'll put you into the table line up just as if none of this had happened...

I would agree. Our last trip to Le Cellier in 07, they could not find my ressie at the podium at LeCellier but I had my confirmation number and they called a manager up and they sat us. The confirmation number is what should help. But I would first get on the new online system and check for each of your ressies. When you put in your confirmation number and phone number it will bring up each individual reservation. Good Luck.

Me too! and they are exactly what I made originally with a CM. :thumbsup2

every time i try to use the online dining reservation system it is down. maybe these lost confirmation numbers are just a by product of the system temporarily screwing up while they fix the bugs in the new program. Let's hope (because now I'm worried too!)
