I was just listening to ESPN radio and they also said Friday. For some reason most cities do it like that. In the past ten years Houston has had seven championship parades. Two NBA, four WNBA, and a combined AHL and College World Series parade (since both happened within a few days of each other). All were on weekdays.I hope she is wrong - I'd really like it on the weekend, so the kids come

We've had our share of championships here too, Bears, Bulls,Wolves and oh yea....the White Sox, so I am familiar with the parade process. I understand that it would be chaotic for a weekend celebration.
