OMG....Flying out of Buffalo is sooo worth it.

I had originally booked with Southwest for $700.80 US for my family of 4.....just checked today price went down to $540.80 US....and they gave me a refund.....how awesome is that!!!

OMG! For us in October it would work out to $237.20 US per person.

How hard is it to get to Buf Airport (where is it)? Are there
any decent park n fly hotels around?

Southwest's fleet consists entirely of the Boeing 737-700. Seating configuration on their planes is 3-3, with no first class section. All seating is "general admission", there are no pre-assigned seats. (see other threads for detailed discussion of the Southwest seating process)

I just happened to check today and we too get $40 US credit per person. The great thing is we have a total of 17 people going in September!!!

Southwest also just added a second non-stop flight from Buffalo every day to Orlando.

Amazing news.

So, our cost is under $190 CDN per person all included.

I have just booked the Holiday Inn Express Buffalo Airport on the recommendation of someone on this site.....sorry can't remember and it is for $89.00 for the night includes leaving the car for 10 days and breaky....can't beat it.....plus this way our holiday starts a day early cause we have a early flight....yaaaa

credits have to be used within a year from the "original" booking date....

the new non stop to florida begins september 15th

probably why the rate for less travelled days went to 59$ each way...that is a good fare...but sometimes they have it for 49$ in the past .....115$ rt from buffalo

Mine is a credit but I have sold them on ebay before for about 95 cents on the dollar.

Willl still watch for them to drop prices again and think that our time is the right time for them to do it...especially with the extra flight now.

That is SO exciting.. what a deal!!! I am SOOO looking forward to when I have to book!.. we are not going until January so I have a bit but I keep looking at pricing to get a feel for it. When do those dates get announced?
$540 is so good considering that to Fly from Hamilton is $1600 C.. savings of $852 after exchange.. think of what you can do with that money!


HOW Do you sell the credit on ebay if it does not go on my CC? That is good news too!

Ok I just checked and Hamilton just raised their prices!!!
it is $129 to get there and $169 to get home! + taxes.

so, for 5 it is $ 2,238.35 CAD and Southwest is 911.74 CAD so I would save $1326. 61.. Guess you know where I am flying from!
