Doing the happy dance, also in panic mode. Still so much to do have to put together list of things to pack.

Arrghhh, also nervous about airport, have my first e-ticket thru Orbitz. Never did that before. Have the confirmation and will have to use a terminal to get my ticket. I used a debit card to pay for it. Do I insert my debit card to get the ticket? Will it print out all my tickets, connecting flights and return tickets,. Or can I wimp out and go to the ticket counter with my confirmation and they will get it for me.

I haven't specifically used orbitz for my ticket, but I use e-tickets all the time now. Each airport is different with where you need to go to check in, but almost all of them have allowed people to go to a counter if needed. I admit if I am not checking baggage then I really like to self check in myself. Oh and no matter what you will only get a ticket for your first set of flights (connections as well). You'll get your other half when you check in to return.

The E-ticket machines at airports tell you exactly what you need to do, and yes, you will need to put in the credit card you used to buy the ticket. It isn't difficult at all, but you could also go to a ticket agent if the machines make you nervous. :D

OH 21 days until a trip...the code threw me for a minute

Enjoy

1st set of tickets? what if I have a connection in Wash DC. Do I need to get another ticket there also at the counter? See I told you I was nervous>

Sorry to confuse you there... I meant "first set (connections as well)" to be your first depature flight including any connection you have. So if you are flying from an airport to DC and then do your final destination, those will be printed.

The "second set" in my head would have been your return flights... so it would be from your destination to any place you may be connection to and then home.

You will only check in a total of two times for a round trip air travel. You will check in at your home airport before you take off and you will check in at your destination airport before you go home. So if you are flying from airport A to DC then finally to B you will get your tickets for all legs of that trip when you first check in at airport A. When you go to leave, you check in at airport B and will get all tickets to DC and then back home to A.

That was long winded but I hope that made better sense. Good luck with your travels and I hope you have a safe flight :)

Thank you helenabear for your help. I usually only get nervous on things I try for the first time. Uncertaincy (Is this a real word?) I guess.

Appreciate your help.
