Hi everyone,
I am back (and recovered) from our first trip to WDW, the BC and our first Disney cruise.
BC- Loved it! Loved it! Loved it! Everything I could have hoped it was and more. Got in at 8:30 am, and room not ready until 3:00- but we were upgraded to full on lagoon view, so no complaints from us.
We had CL so we hung out in the club until SAB opened, and then had a great time at the pool. No real closures during our stay, which was surprising since Deby showed up the second night of our trip. The jib slide closed once, but reopened the next day.
Loved the closeness to Epcot and DHS. Did the walk once to DHS for late EMH, but it was a bit far when pushing a double jogger. Definitely doable, and nice to know the option is there in case the boat lines are too long. Our trip was the same time as Teena's so we didn't get to meet her, but everyone else there was so nice.
Noodle swap- I only had my phone for internet, so it didn't work out to meet up with the people on either side. Having wireless at the resort was nice, but it was slow, and dropped quite a bit.
My DH went on his own (before I had a chance to tell him the codename "Mrs. Noodle") to bell services, and the person who initially helped him didn't really know about it. However, they let him back into the luggage room, and he has reported there are quite a few noodles in there. There was one particular bin that had 10-12, so they just let him grab 4 from there. He did tip them for that. When we returned them, the woman knew all about the swap, and assured him that was the correct bin. He tipped again, and thanked them for helping out. She was very nice about it, so it seems like all is well in noodleville.
I am happy to answer any questions and am getting my first TR together with all the photos.
Thanks again to everyone on this board for advice and help. We had a dream vacation, any my husband spoke proudly of all my planning and the Disboards" to anyone who would listen.
