old resort mugs still useable?

I have many value resort mugs from before visits, last one in 2006. Can I bring those with me and use them this Sept. At allstar sports?

You really are supposed to purchase a new one for each stay. Many still use the old mugs for the resort though. Currently WDW isn't selling resort specific mugs, they are Year of a Million Dreams for all the hotels.

It's really a no-no. I'd just suck it up and buy the new mugs. I'd be embarrassed if I got caught and was called out on it by a CM.

Its not like you can re-use park tickets, etc.

No.. we are not discussing this again..

If Disney's new mugs are different from your old ones, then it would stand to reason they did it so that people would not reuse old mugs. It is a business and each year you buy a new mug for your visit...
