old pictures from the world, location help needed

theese photos were from our first trip back in 1979 to WDW in the magic kingdom. Can anyone help me with where in the kingdom they would have been? Thanks

It looks like the first one is at teh front by the Town Hall. Not sure about the second one.

I too was thinking that the 1st pic looked like the Town Hall in MK!

ok I have been looking at MK photos from all over the net, maybe someone can verify, but could it possibly be that the 2nd picture is at the entrance to the riverboat? You know the one with the big paddlewheel? I dont remember riding it though, but that was 30 yrs ago

I know the rail on the boat is different and the roof of the entrance, but does anyone else have any ideas?

Lori, did you post these on the old park photos thread? Someone there might have a better idea where these were taken, allthough, I think you are right about the riverboat. Here's a link to the thread:
