Any recommendations for Non-smoking Studio at Old Key West.....Are all the studios 'lock offs' ???....quiet is very inportant to me, so I will want to be on an upper floor for sure...any and all suggestions are welcome.....thanks......PS....can we make priority seating reservations via email to DVC??

Based on personal experience I would not ask for anything near the Hospitality House be it a studio, one bedroom, two bed room. The parking is terrible with those coming to Olivia's to eat. Our next trip we will definately ask for something in the Turtle Pond Area.

Not all studios are lock-offs. The earlier buildings have studios that are completely independent. This is our preference as they seem to be bit more soundproof.

Member Services will make your meal reservations, but, if you want a Cinderella's breakfast, you may have a problem. Those need to be called in at 7:00am, 60 days prior to arrival. Member Services doesn't open in time to get these for you.

Since we rarely bring a car, I'm not familiar with any parking problems.

I have to agree with Mary Anne, I have stayed back on old turttle pond road 5 of the six times I have stayed. I usually request 41, 42, or 43 right at the time I call in my res. I is quiet and just get on any bus to the hosp. house.OKW has yet to let me down.

If you request Miller's Road area, you will still be closer to the Hospitality House and you wont have the parking problems they have right across at 11,12,13,&14. I believe there are more non-lock off studios in the older area as well (buildings16-22). Doc should know the answer to that one. We like the area of Southpoint on the canal side of the property (buildings 53-56) because they are quiet, near a small pool and close to the walk way to DD.
