I have a few unused 5-day expiring (within 14 days of first use) paper hoppers I bought a few years ago. Couple question on what I can do with these.
One - can I exchange the paper tickets for plastic media at GR? I did this a couple years ago with some 10 day paper non-exp hoppers (when Disney still had non-exp passes). I'd feel more confident being able to add the newer plastic media passes to MDX than the old paper passes (I had trouble with some old paper passes a couple years ago).
Two - are there any bridging options still available, like upgrading to an AP? I thought I read a while back that you couldn't bridge/upgrade Non-Exp tickets any more because Disney doesn't have/sell them. But these are expiring hoppers that I'm asking about. A few years ago I ran a deal where you bought discounted passes from UT, used one day, then bridged the pass to current gate and then upgraded to an AP. I don't remember the exact numbers, but it was something like buying a 5 day expiring hopper for $400, bridging to current gate value of $425, and getting the DVC AP for $2.
Thanks
