Hi eveyone!
I have been so busy with homework...I need a Dis break!:surfweb::thumbsup2

Does anyone know who many people they let into the Halloween party? At MNSSHP at WDW they sold out the night we went. It was busy but not too bad.

I am still thinking of costume ideas. I was thinking Brent and I can dress up like dalmation dogs and Maddie can be Cruella. I am still brainstorming. I like the themed costume ideas for us.

Anyone else already thinking of costume ideas?

Big Hugs for January:hug: Cute idea for your familys costumes.

Hhmmm... How many tickets do they sell for the halloween party?

Beth You were there last year.. how crowded was the party?:confused3

We won't be going on Friday with the group. We're going on Wednesday and I won't be buying the tickets right away. I hope there are others who can help with their AP's.

There are only a handful of Divas that don't have AP's. I don't think any of us were needing you to get our AP's, so no worries! We're good, but thanks for thinking of us. :)

Good Morning, Everyone!
Happy Sunday, I hope your weekend is going good.:goodvibes

Miss Heather..
Mom and I will be doing the following.
Beth's Birthday BBQ lunch.
The WCT lunch.

I have a question..where is goofy's breakfast??? Also.. does it have any other food than breakfast food on it? :confused3

Thank You for updating us.

I've never been to Goofy's, but I've heard mention of cupcakes! I think it is a mixture of food, I'm sure someone will be along with more info. I know that many websites have menus posted, I'm not sure if Goofy's is included, but you could look at those. We have a menu thread stickied to the top of the Disneyland forum if you want to try there.

Goofy's is at the Disneyland Hotel. I plan on being in the park that morning, and then riding the monorail over.

I may sound like a little dufus for asking this.. but here goes!

Is there anyway someone could make a list with the dates that registering/booking/purchasing... tickets to the tour, party and other things become avaliable as well as the contact info? Pleasssssssssse.. :worship:

I would offer, but since March was my first trip to DLR, I don't think I really know what I'm talking about! I could google everything, but don't really have any experience. I'm sure once again someone will be along to tell us when things need to be done.

This is all I know! (It's not much! :lmao:):

The ToT party tickets go on sale May 15th for AP holders.
Booking the restaurants is the standard 60 days out by calling disney dining.

Sorry I couldn't be MIss Helpful this morning! princess:

Happy Sunday to you too Dawn~

Like Heather said, Goofy's is at the Disneyland hotel. Their breakfast is actually a brunch, so they have both breakfast and lunch items served.

I don't know the exact # of people they let in, but when it's sells out it feels more crowded than the MNSSHP at MK because the park is smaller and there are less things to do. But it's still not the :scared1::scared1::scared1: crowded feeling (I know that wasn't much help ;)).

The older kids and I will probably only doing some sort of Halloween themed tees since they don't like to wear their costumes to the parks?? The baby will definitely being wearing a costume, not sure what yet.

:lmao: You speak monkey like me! When i read this i perfectly understood!:rotfl2:

I don't know how may tix they sell, but it does seem crowded. Especially for DCA which is typically not! We waited to get pix and meet two groups of princesses and the evil stepsisters (they were hilarious, and one of them was DD's friend, so that was fun). Each line was 15-20 minutes. The line for Minnie & Mickey down by the lake was like an hour, so we passed. The candy lines early on were long too, but after 9 pm, they moved very quickly. Between the two of us I had enough candy to pass out to trick or treaters at home, so I figured I saved over $20 that way.:lmao: Half the fun was dressing up and seeing everyone else's costumes. The family themed ones were the cutest. And of course all the little ones.:cutie: I know I am rambling, but it really was a different experience and DD & I had a lot of fun. Worth the $$.

Heather pretty much answered this, but the tickets to the Halloween party will go on sale May 15 for AP holders. Those can be purchased directly on the Disneyland website.
Check here for more info: http://disneyland.disney.go.com/dis...nts/detail?name=HalloweenTimeSpecialEventPage

Typically Disneyland tours can be booked up to one month in advance by calling (714) 781-4400. Not sure if that holds true for the Halloween tour, but more information will be released on that as we get closer to October.

Other than that, I'm not sure what else there is to be booked. The meals cannot be booked until 60 days out (for character meals) and you can call (714) 781-DINE to do that.

I am a little bit. I don't think we'll do a theme, or even do Disney. The kids are sort of over that. lol
Last year the twins were Pocahontas and Sleeping Beauty. But this year they want to be other things. We've talked about a 50's costume, a devil, and a few others.

Beth You were there last year.. how crowded was the party?:confused3
I was there on a Thursday and it depends on what you were doing. The lines to see Micky and Minnie, were outrageous! Over an hour wait. We waited about 35 minutes to see Cinderella's stepmother and stepsisters.
Some of the candy lines were long, but went by fast. I don't know about the ride lines as we skipped those since we'd been on them during the day.

I imagine it will be pretty crowded.

Are you kidding. You are always Miss Helpful!

Your wait was shorter than ours. But yes, they were hilarious!
We waited about 35 minutes for them, but then we got lucky with the two groups of Princesses and only walked right up with one group and waited about 10 minutes for the other.

I honestly think over the course of the night, things come and go in waves. So if one thing seems too long of a wait, you might want to move on and come back to it. Just what I noticed that night. :)

I think you are correct, Beth. And we didn't do any rides, either. It just didn't seem right. The party was what it was all about! We watched the show at the stage by Monsters Inc. It was fun watching kids dancing. The candy lines through the Redwood trails gave us giant handfuls of candy and moved quickly. We just kept wandering around and if a line looked really long, we just kept walking. I'm so glad you and your family are coming.:goodvibes

I heard that Goofy's cupcakes are the bomb-biggity!

I want to dress up as a family...when I mentioned it to DH he just gave me the look. Kinda looked like this ---> :rolleyes2

Heather...

I noticed a question mark behind Maddie's name on the Disser list. I am assuming that is where her age is supposed to go... she is 4.:thumbsup2

Thanks, buddy.:flower3:

Was the line for Mickey and Minnie an hour long all night? I'm hoping it will ease up later on. My kids like to stay up and sleep in, so we'll be good! :thumbsup2

(It does make me wonder if my plans for MM Sat will go up in smoke...I have a feeling, we'll be doing good to get to Goofy's by 10am the more I think about it!)

I wasn't going to say anything until later, but things are really up in the air for me right now. I've talked with a few here, and it seems like we are really getting the shaft as far as help for Nathan goes. I'm now finding out, that even if we had all the money in the world, there just aren't enough therapists here to help him. Long story short, the state supreme court ruled on Friday to completely do away with Early Intervention and several other programs for the disabled. DH and I have been talking for about a month now about moving to the LA area in order to be closer to a facility that would offer more help for us. We are both nurses, and so finding a job shouldn't be too bad. We just are not sure the time frame for moving though. So, I'm going to continue on thinking about the trip like before, but I'm not sure it's going to happen for us.

We've talked about moving at the end of the year, and if that happens we probably won't come out in October at all. Or we might come just for a few days in order to look around the area, and might drop by DLR for a day or two. We don't know. There is the possibility that we will be living out there by October, and if that's the case, I'm hoping that we can come out for a day or two also. This will be touch and go though because it's always tricky to think about time off at a new job.

So, long story short, I'm still here helping you all plan, and I will keep the thread up, but don't be surprised if we don't come this time, or only come for a few days.

This is also the reason I've been in a funk lately...the stress of moving again really gets to me on top of anger, fear, and worry about my son receiving all the help he can.

Thanks everyone! Sorry for the novel.

Aww, Heather. I am so sorry it's been such a battle for you dealing with this. I cannot believe they would vote to take away something so vital to so many families. :sad2:
You are a good mom for fighting for your son and doing whatever it takes to help him. I'm hoping you'll be able to make whatever move you need to make, get the services you need, and still be able to meet up with us in October.

Even though I'd love to meet you in October, you have to do what's best for your family so I hope all goes well for you.

The good part is that if you end up moving to the LA area, you'll be able to do more mini-meets with us locals :thumbsup2.

Good luck in whatever you decide to do .

So Linda--you're going Fri. night right? I may need someone to hang with!

Heather: so sorry about the State supremes --that stinks. check carefully into services here though before you move--I'm sure you will.

They're cutting those programs everywhere. The program we're in for Early Intervention is being taken over by another company so we have no idea what will be cut. It sounds like it will effect more of the preschool to school age kids which is just sad!! These kids were already in for a struggle & to lose services once they reach school age means they'll fall thru the cracks. What a dis-service to everyone!!!

We too are looking at moving to the Anaheim area. I've heard wonderful things about CHOC so that is where we plan on transfering to when we move. Hang in there.... make your voice heard (even if it doesn't seem to do any good)....fight for your you & your child.... if you don't, no one will. We're behind you & keeping you in my prayers for answers & help.

Thanks everyone! We are still just talking, but if we can at least move to a place where things are available even if we have to pay will be wonderful. I know many places are short on the budget, and honestly don't expect the govenment to give us everything. It's just that our options are so limited here. Honestly, by the time we'd move, and get settled, we will be past the early intervention stage, and in the school system. So, that's where I need to focus my research, and have been doing that. Also looking at the medical facilities and the programs offered through them, and that's what's leading us to CA. :dance3:

You're more than welcome to hang out with us, too! We'll be there. I'm trying to convince DH that the whole family should go, but he's not so sure.
