hey there friends!!

I know, i know....where the heck have I been??

Finally jumping in to this thread. We are planning (the whole darn fam) to be there probably Wed night till Sun afternoon. Of course it all depends on Paul being able to take time off, and he won't know that until we get close. But I will probably come with the kiddos if he can't.

I'm planning on (all of us) attending Goofy's, the BBQ, and the TOTP.

Heather...can you add me to the above?

We splurged on a suite at Hojo's. Couldn't pass up the ent rate!! WOOHOO!

Can't wait to see you there!

Did you get the ent rate on one of the new kids suites? If so how much was it? I might be needing to call them! :thumbsup2

I'll add you all on, can you remind me again about your children...boys, girls, ages? Thanks!

I think I got the AP rate. It was 107 a night. They said there was talk about adding the ent rate to the suites sometime soon, and to keep watching because I could change the res if the rate was lower. But I thought the 107 was good!!

Yeah, it is for what you get...two bathrooms and two bedrooms. I can't wait to see a picture of the pirate theming. We will be in one also, I wonder if we'll be 'living' next to each other?

Right now, I just have the Disboards discount, but will probably get an AP. (I should've got one this past trip!) I hope they do ent rates for them, that would be sweet! :)

:)
For the Happiest Haunts Tour - which day is best for everyone going?? Thursday or Sunday. They have two tours per day, at 6:00 and 6:30 p.m. I believe, so it will be at night.

Last year, they also had the Trick or Treat party on 2 Thursdays (the 3rd and 4th weeks of October). They won't offer the tours on the same night as the party, will they? Just thought I'd mention this in case they schedule a party again on the same Thursday that you plan on doing the tour.

I just read on another thread that the tickets for the halloween party will go on sale on Oct. 15th for AP holders. The person who posted this info. said they had just gotten off the phone with a CM at DLR and they gave her this info. They also gave her the dates of some of the parties. So, if someone wanted to call, they may let you know what the dates are for the week that our group will be there. If the tickets go on sale on the 15th, I imagine the info. will be available on the website soon.

I think October 15 might be a mistake. I think May 15 for AP holders and some time in August for non AP.

I just checked on this and they said the tour would still happen on the day of a party - it would just be a bit earlier, say 5:00 and 5:15. The tour only starts in DCA and then goes over for most of it in DL. So for now, the info is yes the tour will be going on for Thursdays in October.

I don't have an AP... :guilty:

I would, except that I'm not on a regular computer where I could do that. (I'm on my DS's wii, and it doesn't have that feature). I'll see if I can get on my regular computer and do that. I just booted it a few mins. ago when I saw the info. so that I could post it here.
Edit: I see that it has now been posted. Thanks!

I didn't want to quote that entire informational section.... I have an AP, but won't activate it until July 5th. Does anybody know if I can call a certain AP phone # on May 15th and purchase the ticket for Oct 23rd and give the my AP purchase confirmation? If so, does anyone know the #? Thanks!!!

I don't know if that will work. When our AP's weren't activated yet, I couldn't get the AP price for the tour that we wanted to do, so it might be the same for this. Michelle (Zoemakes5) offerred to buy tickets at the AP price for people who don't have an AP, so maybe you can get one through her.
