I'm leaning toward bringing the boys, but not certain yet. DH not sure he wants to go, and not sure they will enjoy. I'm leaning towards bringing them, though. And, I don't quite know if they will be wearing costumes. This last year, Riley was a hobo and Ethan was a hippie. They might just be in Halloween tshirts, but if they want to dress up and it's appropriate, I'll let them.
Either way, I'm hoping to hang with Diser's while we're there, otherwise, I don't think we'd go that night, we'd go a different night to ToT.

Hey all! Thanks for saving us from the 2nd page Stacie!

I know that not all of us want to hang out all night together at the party, but, I would love to get a group photo with all of us in our costumes. I assume that the normal photopass people will be out. What would you all think about meeting in front for a large group photo at some point? Should we do it right at the beginning? I'm thinking that might be best, our costumes will be fresh, and then we won't have to worry about meeting back up if we are stuck in a line somewhere. What do you all think? princess:

Oh, and as of right now, we are planning on coming. We've had lots of talk the past couple of days, and I went to a meeting tonight that changed a few things. Anyway, I think we'll be coming, and then spending Sunday driving around looking at stuff. So, I'm going to continue on like I've got no care! :woohoo:

:yay:

JeLLo shots in a ziP lock bag at the bottom of a purse... sounds like a plan to me!:yay:

This is going to be so much fun!

Hang in there Heather:hug:

CheryL, Linda, Donna... are you all going to wear a type of costume? Or a shirt like Theresa suggested?
I'm kinda leaning towards a cute shirt with ears or some sort of thing like that. Kinda like Beth and Wendy did last year.

I just wanted to say that it means so much to me that You all are celebrating my mother's birthday with me.
I think the wonderful thing about Disneyland is that is binds relationships across generations. We will have a lovely time and I'm already working on party favors!:yay: So..... Thanks again.:goodvibes

I know that we will have Maddie at the party...so I would love to get the picture with a group and hang out for a bit. But I know that I won't be able to get away with hanging out for the whole party.:headache: Gotta do the family thing, KWIM? I would be up to try a Jello Shot. Just sayin. I will take 2 Sallerinas please.:flower3::rotfl:

Aw, you know I love you guys!

I can't believe you are already working on party favors! You rock!!:woohoo:

Yep. So, it's me, Cheryl, Theresa, Stacie and Bridgette? Sounds like fun to me!:)

Stacielee, are you going Friday night with your teens?

Not sure yet, I don't actually know which of my kids will be with me. Allyson will be in high school and they don't have any early releases that week so we're just waiting until we see how her classes are at that time. I'll ask Christine since she'll be home in 2 days!!! :woohoo:

Yay Heather!! I want to have no cares, too! How do I do that? :confused3

I'm excited to be coming also!

So, I take it from most of the replies so far, that you all don't want a group picture before splitting up for the night at the party. :confused3 OK, so maybe we can get one another time, like before Beth's BBQ bash or something. I just thought the costumes and having all the kids together would be cute. I know the party will be busy and crazy though. (Tell me again, why I want to do it!)

Oh, and Stacie, it's easy to act like you have no worries. Stick your head in the sand, turn your Disney music up relaly loud, smile, and dance around....oh, and a few jello shots don't hurt either! :thumbsup2

Let me know if you decide to bring them :thumbsup2.

I agree that I want to hang out with the Divas for the night otherwise I'd bring the kids on a slower night.

Heather~ Glad your trip sounds like it's back on :woohoo:. I think a group picture together sounds like a great idea. Everyone can meet up at the beginning of the party and then split up if they rather spend the evening with family.

I don't think I will be wearing a costume, but I will be wearing a halloween tee. If I can loose weight by October, I may wear my hippie costume. But so far the weight lose isn't going so well :headache:.

and Dawn and her Mom. (wonder if we can sneak Jello Shots in . . . . . )

I can always stick some in a ziploc and put them in the diaper bag and say it's jello for the baby :thumbsup2 . They can't confiscate a baby's snacks.

I just wanted to say that it means so much to me that You all are celebrating my mother's birthday with me.

I think it will be lots of fun so no need to thank me. I also got Sally a little something for her b-day. But the more I think of it, it's probably more for you . Well you both can share .

Did any of you read this:

Disneyland Announces Summer Nightastic!
Disneyland recently announced a slew of new offerings for the upcoming summer. Fantasmic has received a few upgrades, including HD video projections, a new 40-foot-tall dragon, and Flotsam and Jetsam, the eels from the Little Mermaid, racing around the lagoon on jet skis. The new fireworks show, "Magical," was announced, with Dumbo joining Tinker Bell for a flight over the castle. Other new additions include the new TLT Dance Club in Tomorrowland, as well as nighttime access to Pixie Hollow. See the official press release in this issue for more details.

Disney's Electrical Parade to Return
After an extended absence, the Electrical Parade will return to Disney's California Adventure. The parade will now begin with an entirely new lead float featuring Tinker Bell and her friends. Snow White and Pinocchio will also return to the parade in new floats, which will feature a revamped version of the classic "Baroque Hoedown" soundtrack.

I'm glad they are adding new features to the Electric Parade and Fantasmic. And I'm looking forward to seeing Dumbo flying over the castle .

Beth~ Are you planning on seeing Fantasmic in October. I'd love to help save seats up front.

I am definitely interested in a pic before the party!:thumbsup2 Or whenever. Just let me know and I will be there. Even though this is a family trip, I still want to see you all and hang out all together with our families when we can! I think it would be a blast!:yay:

Oh...the summer nightastic sounds pretty cool. Too bad it is for the summer. Bummer. (hey, that rhymes!:upsidedow)

But, I think the changes to the shows (Fantasmic, Electric Parade & Fireworks) will be a permanent changes (or at least until they update them again), so hopefully they will still be around in October. Or maybe not :confused3.

Do the boys not like Disneyland?

Sallyrinas would be pretty darn good right now!

Where else can adults go trick or treating too???

I am up for a picture!

A chance to wear a costume inside Disneyland? I'm going for it!

Yep, I'm planning to. I'll probably head over to the area in front of Rivers of America right after the BBQ dinner. I doubt we'll get front and center though just because we'll be getting there kind of late.

Maybe we can do the BBQ at 4:30 or is that too early? :confused3

In any case, that's where I'll be that night, saving spots if anyone wants to join me. Oh, but you don't have to wait with me the whole time. That's a long wait! LOL
