I bought my tickets for the TOT party on 10/23!!

It will be myself, James and Taylor, plus I am bringing my parents.

Yep, we really are going. Tickets are bought, so that is that.

Well, my mom said she wanted to go, Taylor was unsure. I know James will go when I tell him. And my dad's birthday is just before that so I know he will want to go and celebrate.

I know.....hurry up and get here Oct already. I will settle for June.

I know you gals will have a wonderful time in Vegas, I really wish I was going but the Alaska Cruise got in the way. Seriously, I can't wait to hear all about it and hopefully there will be a Trip #2 and I can go. I want to be a member of the Bad Girls Club, too!

I'm going to wait a little while until I buy my TOT tickets. My savings is dwindling fast since I haven't worked in over 5 months. I'll probably buy mine in July (or sooner if I get a job ). Hope they don't sell out before then.

I really hope the Vegas meet becomes a regular DIVAS trip. I've never been to Vegas & I'd rather go with a bunch of ladies than with my family. It sounds like you guys will have a blast .

Beth, that's exactly what I was talking about. I figure that I have the 'figure' for Edna Turnblad. We will see, I don't know what I'm going to do.

Tracey, we are planning on arriving on Wed, but we'll have the kiddo's, and I don't want to slow you down. We can at least wave to each other as we pass if nothing else.

Nancy, I'm so glad Dawn told you to join us. The more the merrier, I just want to make sure that if anyone is lurking, they know that we are not a 'by invitation only' group. We are open to any dis lady who would like to join us! Nancy, if you go to the party, are you going to dress up? It seems that we are split in half between costume wearers and t-shirt wearers. I haven't decided where I land yet!

I'm torn - depends on if the Tink and Iridessa costumes fit them. Ian has a Peter Pan costume and I started making Wendy last year and never finished. It would be a good excuse.

BTW - in regards to where to find retro costumes....

Here in Burbank, there is are several shops including one called Hullaballoo, as well as It's a Wrap - the studio outlet store that buys inventory from TV and Movie wardrobes and resells them. It's on Magnolia, near Hollywood Way. Walk the shops on the street and then have lunch at Portos....

I believe (don't quote me) that last year no dates "sold out" until they went on sale to the general public (which last year was Aug.1). However, Fridays tend to sell out first, so I wouldn't wait TOO long.

When we bought our tickets in mdi-August, there were no Fridays left. Don't quote me either, but I'm fairly certain by that point I only had the ability to purchase Tuesday or Wednesday tickets. (Though I could be confused with the previous year.) That's why I got my tickets yesterday, just Zoe and I for now, but hoping to add the boys later.
Just FYI, if people wanted to get the tickets, but not right now, I'm still open to helping get those tickets with my AP.

Well, hello January!
We've missed you. I think several gals have inquired about you on the Feb trip thread. Of course, we missed you here, too. The only thing going on is we (the group) keep changing our mind about weather we want to wear tees all tied somehow together, or full fledged fun costumes. And several of us have bought tix, a few are waiting until their funds build up a little. Anyway, glad to see you, TTFN!

So, for trip #2 we have Katie and myself so far. Poor Beth, the first trip isn't even over and I have her hosting another. I don't care it it's summer either, we will just do everything indoors or at night, right?

Hi stranger! I thought you were off on another thread cheating on us or something. Of course if anything important comes up I will PM you, but seeing as how we have like 5 months to go, it's mainly just fun, excited chatter now.

January, I'm waiting on mine until sometime in July. I just can't talk to Ruben about getting six tickets right now, when I'm also asking him for money for a bunch of other things, and a bunch of bills are due. I know not to push my luck! So all I can do is wait, and hope that they will still have the night I need available then.
