OKW - when did the phone messages stop?

I was surprised to not receive any telephone messages from "a castmember" for the entire 10 day stay last month. When did they stop them?

The most consistent message was to invite members to the weekly update at OKW Community Hall. Now that the update is at SSR and the invitation is prominently featured in the Perk Pages, they must feel the additional message isn't warranted any longer.

When we were there during the hurricanes last summer, there were frequent messages left on the phone by CMs. Maybe their concentrating using that feature only for more important messages at this time. We had no CM messages when we were there last month either. (Thankfully, there were no hurricanes eihter! )

No hurricanes but nasty cold on some of the days! I was shocked and bewildered to see people at the top of Mount Gushmore - what could they be thinking????
