OKW - What to request?

Trip was originally scheduled for June 9th-21st at WLV. For a number of reason I have moved part of the trip up. We will now be staying June 2nd-8th at OKW in a 2 bedroom and a studio. I have only stayed at OKW one other time and had no idea what to ask for so we were in a studio in building 45. The main thing I remember is being in bed and hearing the buses driving by for a couple more hours and how far it was to the pool. Can anyone suggest some building numbers or locations to request? Do you think the reservation was made to late (today) to actually get anything I request? Thanks for all your help.

the views are golf, water and woods - I generally ask for a water view (not pool view) near a pool and bus stop. since the water view is first that is what I get.

to answer your other questions - it depends upon how many guest/members make requests - alot still don't - so I would think it is not to late.

Thanks for the reply. Have you ever noticed the noise from the busses being near a bus stop.? I do live in the country with no traffic around so that may be why I noticed it. Was also put in the studio nearest the road so I'm not sure if you can hear it from the other rooms. Any thoughts on this?

I ask for near a bus stop, not at the bus stop there is a difference - yes in some rooms you can definitely here the buses. your first request is the most important - so decide what you want - water, golf or woods - when I ask for a water view I asked that it not be near the pool (too noisey for my taste). OKW has alot of water view and golf views so that is not hard there as it would be at most places.

I have always worried alot about hearing the buses....we have been in buildings 30, 35, and 45. Sometimes I could hear the buses in these buildings, however, we found if you turn your fan on at the thermostat and leave it on all the time, it pretty much drowns out the buses and I have no problem sleeping. Hope this little tip helps if you get a room where the buses bother you!
