what OKW buildings (studios ) have the canal view without looking out over the parking lot and roadway? We would like a water view but not looking at the parking lot too.

Also could you suggest the better views and from what building for above ?

Looks like 45, 46, 55. I would just request water view, rather than certain buildings. We liked our waterviews in 31 & 43, they faced ponds.

I think I was in 55 last July. It was all water.

#55 is my all-time favorite. The canal runs right behind it. Soooo pretty and at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, too.

Remember that at OKW, parking is out front from each building. The balconies are all toward the back, so the views from these do NOT face parking lots. You can see the parking from front windows, but the landscaping is lush and beautiful. We were assigned to building #49 this November, probably considered a bummer as it is far from Hospitality House, not near a pool, and close to a road. We LOVED it... we found a path to the pool, the road noise was minimal, and the landscaping was gorgeous. It truly is hard to get a bad assignment at OKW. Enjoy!

I'm hoping to get one of those in August before we move into the GV. (No GV's in 45 or 46.) I'd love to sit on the balcony, sipping my coffee and watching the boats go by. *sigh*

The entrance side of each building faces the parking area for that set of buildings. On the map, the entrance side of the building is the side with more little "bumps" on it. The parking area is the sort of irregularly shaped light grey area. The only windows that face the parking lot are frosted glass bathroom windows set high in the wall, so there are no parking lot views.

All the views are great, golf course or water. Don't fret.

Many of the studios on the lower floors do have quite a bit of vegation growing around them so the view can be very blocked. You might want to keep this in mind if requesting a lower floor.
Even the buildings that are very close to the road still have trees between the building and the road. So although you can see and hear the road and traffic, it is through the trees.
